Michael Bay has made this quick post on his official message board that will surely fuel the excitement of Transformers fans. The post was in regards to Frank Welker doing the voice of Soundwave in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Although it is short and sweet, this is what Michael Bay had this to say:

I think I’m going to pursue Frank on Soundwave.

Frank Welker is the voice behind legendary Transformers characters Megatron, Soundwave, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat, Mirage and Trailbreaker. He also inherited the role of Galvatron from Leonard Nimoy. His other recognizable voice work includes Goro of Mortal Kombat and Nibbler of Futurama.

Michael Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, John Benjamin Hickey, Ramon Rodriguez, and Isabel Lucas.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is scheduled to explode onto screens on June 24, 2009.
