Tupac Shakur Penned Screenplay To Hit Cinemas By 2010

2pac_2120507021912Tupac Shakur’s script ‘Live 2 Tell’, which was penned by the late rapper while he was in prison is rumoured to be in production in preparation for a 2010 release.

‘Live To Tell’ was written by the Shaker when he was incarcerated in 1995 for sexual assault charges. According to the film’s IMDB entry, it focuses on a man who is dragged into the drug world by his mentor, eventually becoming the most feared kingpin in his city. As the man’s conscience gets the better of him he is slowly driven towards redemption.

It is not the first time the film has been rumoured to be in production. In 2005, the rapper’s mother, Afeni Shakur (who owns the rights to the screenplay) was set to produce it. However, that version of the picture never materialized.

For their not to be a film about the greatest rapper to ever do it would be a crime.

were talking about a man who inspired people all over the world, to take control of their lives, and to think highly of themselves no matter what enviroment they were in.

Of course he was surrounded by infamous gangsters, but Tupac found him self in that situation becuase the message he had and the roots he came from were built from this lifestyle.

to not make a film due to his connections with the underworld or for fear of reprisal would be such a shame.

the biggie film was ok, but painted tupac in a rubbish light, please make it happen.
