Denis Leary’s FDNY firefighter drama, Rescue Me,  returns to FX on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 10pm ET with the season premiere “Baptism.” I is had to believe but fans haven’t been treated to a new episode since September of 2007, when the fourth-season finale “Yaz” aired. The wait for a fresh season is just about over and FX has released some cool stylized cast photos to wet your whistle for Season 5. Check them out below!

Rescue Me Season 5 will include 22 episodes total instead of the customary shorter cable run of 13 episodes. A special guest for Season 5 is Michael J. Fox. Rescue Me has already been renewed for a sixth season of 18 more episodes.
