thefallen_group

As previously reported, three of the four original members of Evanescence have joined forces with “American Idol” vocalist Carly Smithson to form a new band called The Fallen. The lineup consists of Smithson and three of the four original members of Evanescence – guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray – as well as bassist Marty O’Brien, whose recording and touring credits include Disturbed and Kelly Clarkson.

Fans can now head over to WeAreTheFallen.com, where the first 100,000 registrants qualify for a FREE download of the first single ‘Bury Me Alive’.

The group already has been in the studio, recording material in addition to “Bury Me Alive”. The band hopes to begin touring this September and promise to release new songs every couple of months.

I signed up but I haven’t received a link to the song yet. It is pretty easy to find on YouTube and I really think they are gonna give Amy Lee a run for her money.

” (we are) The Fallen” is an exact copy of Evanescence on their first album which is titled “Fallen”. Sound familiar? Bury Me Alive is a good song, but doesn’t really deserve any points on creativity.
