BUSH Add Fall Dates to North American Tour

bush-group-2016-1

Multi-platinum rock band BUSH have added a string of fall dates to their North American tour. The current run includes co-headlining dates with Chevelle, as well as special BUSH VIP packages being offered via On The List Presents. More information can be found by clicking HERE. (Please note: the additional fall shows are Bush only.)

This tour is the band’s first for 2016 following last year’s road show in support of Man on the Run, which began with a performance at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas as part of a lineup that included System of a Down, Linkin Park and Rise Against. The band (lead vocalist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz and drummer Robin Goodridge) also teamed with Shazam, Vevo and VH1 for the video launch of “The Only Way Out,” a song that the group premiered on “The Howard Stern Show.” USA Today had the song’s online premiere, Billboard debuted the album’s title track and Elle premiered “Loneliness Is A Killer.” Those songs all appeared on Man on the Run, which the band recorded with Grammy winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Mastodon, Deftones, Foo Fighters). BUSH also teamed with Pandora for a special promotion that saw them give a special acoustic performance for fans who gave them “a thumbs up,” they performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and frontman Gavin Rossdale guest-starred on the 100th episode of “Hawaii 5-0.”

Man on the Run was the follow-up to 2011’s The Sea of Memories, which was BUSH’s first release in 10 years. That album saw them return to the top of the charts in grand style, with lead single “The Sound of Winter” making rock radio history as the first self-released song ever to hit No. 1 at Alternative Rock Radio (where it stayed for six consecutive weeks).

Over the course of their career, BUSH has sold close to 20 million records in the U.S. and Canada alone. They’ve also compiled an amazing string of 18 consecutive Top 40 hit singles on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. Eleven of those hit the Top 5, six of which shot to No. 1: “Comedown,” Glycerine,” “Machinehead,” “Swallowed,” “The Chemicals Between Us” and “The Sound of Winter.”
