Everyone’s favorite rapper, 50 Cent, made an important announcement via Twitter in regard to his highly anticipated 5th studio album,  “Street King Immortal”. Originally slated for a November 2012 release, 50 Cent tweeted – “STREET KING IMMORTAL Coming FEB26 SMSaudio”. 

50 Cent recently showcased his expert driving skills and classic flow in his new video for “My Life,” the lead single off of his upcoming album “Street King Immortal.” The video features vocals from Adam Levine as well as a couple of verses from Eminem. Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company, is bringing the Shady 2.0 Showcase from SXSW live to music lovers on March 16th, beginning at 8pm ET/7pm CT. “Fuse Live: Shady 2.0” will kick off from the Austin Music Hall via live stream on youtube.com/fuse with some of the hottest hip hop artists all leading up to 50 Cent’s performance at 12am ET/11pm CT, which will air exclusively on Fuse’s cable network. Live Stream performances will include Shady recording artist Slaughterhouse, as well as up and comers BIG K.R.I.T., ScHoolboy Q, Action Bronson and more.

Nearly ten years since its release, 50 Cent will take the Austin Music Hall stage for one of the most buzzed about performances at SXSW, performing his multi-platinum Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album in its entirety, live, for the first time ever to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Get Rich recording sessions. Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ sold 872,000 units in the first four days of its release, making it the fastest-selling debut disc in the SoundScan era (since 1991). The #1 Pop, #1 R&B/Hip-hop album was the biggest seller of 2003 and has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. The hit single “In Da Club” peaked at number one for nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for twenty-two weeks. Tracks such as “Wangsta,” “21 Questions” and “P.I.M.P.” scorched the airwaves.

Leading up to “Fuse Live: Shady 2.0,” music lovers can tune in to Fuse for an all day Shady Takeover, beginning at 6am ET. The entire day will be dedicated to Shady Records artists and will include music videos from artists such as Yelawolf and 50 Cent, as well as “The Eminem Chronicles” and episodes of Fuse’s “Top 20 Countdown” and “Hip Hop Shop” devoted to one of the most beloved rappers in the game, Eminem.

Fans can also log on to fuse.tv/shady for additional information on programming, the latest news, and photos.

Originally scheduled to perform, Shady Records, Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment, Interscope Records recording artist Yelawolf is still recuperating from a ruptured spleen suffered earlier this month and will no longer be appearing.

Nicole Scherzinger Confirms Hosting Gig on X Factor, Offers Look A “Black Dog” Recording Session

Pussycat Doll-turned-solo-artist Nicole Scherzinger has added a new job to her impressive resume – television host of FOX’s new singing competition the X Factor, based off the British show of the same name.

Nicole will join Welsh TV personality Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Antonio “L.A.” Reid on the search for America’s next great music act.

“I am thrilled to be asked by Simon Cowell to host The X Factor,” said Nicole, who recently served as a guest judge on the UK version. “I loved working alongside Simon on the U.K. show, and cannot wait to see what he has in store for the U.S. I’m so excited to work with Steve Jones and help discover astounding talent from across the country!”

The announcement comes right after the release of Nicole’s music video for “Right There” feat. 50 Cent, the single from her forthcoming album Killer Love, and the premiere of her cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” for the NBA Playoffs.
