The past, present and future of the UFC, in and out of the cage, will be on display – literally – as attendees of UFC® Fan Expo™, August 27-28 at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, will get the first look at the Round 5 “Ultimate Collector” Series 4 collectible figurines. Fans can see new standard and Limited Edition sculpts representing seven different UFC personalities, including Royce Gracie, Brock Lesnar, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Cain Velasquez, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Dana White (regular only) and Bruce Buffer (Limited Edition only).
Round 5 can be found at Booth No. 2524 on the convention floor. The “Ultimate Collector” Series 4 displays are in addition to the previously announced “3-packs” featuring Buffer, exclusive to Expo in the U.S., and prototypes of its high-detail “Live” series with Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.

After two hugely successful UFC® Fan Expo™ events in Las Vegas, Round 5, a leader in producing mixed martial arts collectible figurines, will give East Coast UFC fans the first chance to experience two significant new collections at the upcoming UFC Fan Expo, August 27-28 at the John B. The “3-packs” are enhanced versions of the new Round 5 “Versus” line, distinctly new figurines highlighting battle scenes from great UFC matches, supplemented with a Buffer figure, not available in any other Round 5 Series at mass retailers in the U.S. The three matchups available in limited quantities at the Expo are “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva (UFC 92), Tito Ortiz vs. Chuck Liddell (UFC 66) and Frank Mir vs. Brock Lesnar (UFC 100).
Bruce Buffer will also sign autographs at the Round 5 booth at the Expo.
Expo attendees will also get the first look at UFC “Live,” highly-detailed, realistic, scaled figure statues, packaged separately. Created with the higher-end collector in mind, these premium figures will measure a full 10 inches and will also come with a UFC-branded display stand. Together, the Couture and Liddell figures, created at a 1/7 scale, complete a battle scene from the epic June 6, 2003, first meeting between the mixed martial arts legends.

Based on the 1980’s television series, The A-Team movie will follow a group of Iraq War veterans (changed from Vietnam) who are trying to clear their name with the U.S. military. They were arrested for committing a crime for which they were framed, and break out of a maximum-security stockade to clear their name . The original series, which ran from 1983-87, starred George Peppard, Mr. T, Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz. Joe Carnahan is directing.
Ellismania 5 was the talk of Las Vegas this past weekend, as a sold out crowd of 3,000 watched Good Charlotte/Taintstick bassist BENJI MADDEN knock out ex- Headbangers Ball/VH1’s Daisy of Love host RIKI RACHTMAN in the first round of the main event. The event attracted many celebrities who were out to watch the insanity, including UFC heavyweight champion Shane Carwin, Tony Hawk, Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller, members of No Doubt, Sum 41 and Holly Madison, just to name a few.
While Benji Madden’s knockout in the first round capped off the most successful Ellismania in history, the event was host to a variety of unique and entertaining fights that kept the sold out crowd captivated throughout the evening. Event host Jason Ellis fought in two of the most exciting matches of the night – taking on Murderball star Mark Zupan in a wheelchair match, and battling in a celebrity Shock Collar Match against Aaron VanPatten and MMA superstar Kit Cope. Ellis radio co-host Rawdog lost a boxing match against his sister Gabi in a unanimous decision, while the battle for North American bragging rights was won by Canada and the American competitor was forced to tattoo the Canadian flag on his backside.
Ellis celebrated the success of Ellismania 5 by performing three sold out shows with his band TAINTSTICK (featuring BENJI MADDEN on bass) at Wasted Space. TAINTSTICK performed tracks from their monumental debut album, “6lbs of Sound”, for a rabid sold out crowd that pushed the venue past capacity three times throughout the weekend.
JASON ELLIS has also been nominated for a REVOLVER Magazine Golden God Award in the category of ‘Most Metal Athlete’. Voting can be done at http://www.revolvermag.com/goldengods. The awards take place Thursday, April 8th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA.
