Asking Alexandria Frontman, Danny Worsnop, Releases “Angels” Solo Single

Asking Alexandria Frontman, Danny Worsnop, Releases “Angels” Solo Single

Asking Alexandria frontman, Danny Worsnop, has released a brand new solo single today with a highly emotional music video which has clocked up over 100k YouTube views already and features his proposal to his fiancé, Victoria Potter. The track, titled ‘Angels’, is a beautifully soulful ballad dedicated to Danny’s wife-to-be and available digitally now from www.dannyworsnop.net

Speaking on the song, Danny says: “To me this song is more than just words and a melody, It was an attempt to put into words feelings I didn’t know how to explain. It was part of my first proposal plan that was thwarted by Victoria being equally as romantic and putting a date together for me that was almost the exact same. While that plan never came together, the song lived.

I wrote ‘Angels’ by phone light on the bus while underneath a boat in around 15 minutes. It’s crazy how words fall out when you let the the world disappear and you sit with your heart and mind. A couple months later I got home, set up the bones of my studio in Victoria’s living room, recorded it, sent it off to Jim for him to work his magic, and started to work on the video. I didn’t want any fancy production or video shoot… just our memories.”

Produced by Worsnop and Jim Kaufman, ‘Angels’ showcases not only Danny’s phenomenal vocals but also the growing dexterity in his songwriting. Find the track digitally at www.dannyworsnop.net

As well as celebrating his recent engagement, Danny is also currently celebrating his  3rd top ten radio hitwith his band Asking Alexandria. Their single ‘Alone In A Room’ crept up the charts again this week, moving from #8 to #7 and has 14.1 million Spotify streams and 5.3 million Youtube views.

The band released a video for the acoustic version of the single last week which has already had over 600k YouTube views and 847k Spotify plays.

Asking Alexandria Release “Into The Fire” Video; Announce Dec. 15 Album Release

Asking Alexandria Release “Into The Fire” Video; Announce Dec. 15 Album Release

Asking Alexandria have released a video for the new single “Into The Fire” (https://youtu.be/-jFgNreZPf0). The track, which will appear on the band’s as-of-yet untitled fifth album (Dec. 15, Sumerian Records) marks the first new music to come from the band since they reunited with singer Danny Worsnop.

“This is an incredibly exciting period in Asking Alexandria’s career. We have been through hell and back again,” explains singer/guitar player Ben Bruce. “It’s been an insanely long road but we couldn’t be more excited that it has brought us to where we are now. We have been given a new lease on life. As individuals, this is the happiest we have been in a very long time.”

The song, and accompanying video, arrives following the U.S. debut via SiriusXM Octane.

Asking Alexandria spent the summer recording the new album, with From First To Last’s Matt Good (Memphis May Fire, Upon a Burning Body) and mixer Taylor Larson (Periphery). The album’s title and cover art will be revealed soon.

Asking Alexandria is Ben Bruce (guitar/vocals), Cameron Liddell (guitar), Sam Bettley (bass), James Cassells (drums) and Danny Worsnop (vocals).

ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL Musical Film Tour To Kick Off 40 City Run On August 26th

ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL Musical Film Tour To Kick Off 40 City Run On August 26th

the-devils-carnival-2015-2

Hell ain’t got a prayer that could stop this tour: Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival, the sequel to cult-sensation film The Devil’s Carnival, will be featured nightly on its special musical road show tour, stopping in 40 North American cities this summer and fall!

But before we discuss the tour, a bit about the film: Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival features a thrilling cast full of top horror and classic mainstream film stars, in addition to some of today’s top musical talent in acting roles! Fantasized by the team of celebrated film director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, and IV) and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich – who also collaborated on musical cult films Repo! The Genetic Opera (which The Hollywood Reporter embraces as “this generation’s Rocky Horror Picture Show”) and the original The Devil’s Carnival – Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival stars Zdunich, in addition to actors Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), David Hasselhoff (Baywatch, Knightrider, Dodgeball), Adam Pascal (RENT), Dayton Callie (Sons of Anarchy, Deadwood), Briana Evigan (Step Up Film Franchise), Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show) and many more. Additionally, chart topping musicians Emilie Autumn, Tech N9ne, Danny Worsnop (We Are Harlot, Ex-Asking Alexandria), Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey (Butcher Babies), Ogre (Skinny Puppy), and Jimmy Urine (Mindless Self Indulgence) and more grace the screen in this macabre masterpiece.

In Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival, Lucifer (Zdunich) incites Heaven’s wrath by dispatching train cars full of condemned souls a-crashin’ through the pearly gates. God (Sorvino), in response, readies his top negotiator, The Agent (Pascal), for a trip down to The Carnival to put an end to the rebellious deeds. Take an insider’s look at the first scene from the film and the opening music sequence “Shovel and Bone”, in addition to three film teasers featuring Tech N9ne, Danny Worsnop, and Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey here via Loudwirehttp://loudwire.com/alleluia-the-devils-carnival-shovel-and-bone-exclusive-video-premiere/

Now about that tour… Each evening of the Alleluia! Tour will begin with a live, local and little opening act (although these pre-show routines may include dwarves, the word little refers to their running times—think of movie previews with a pulse), followed by an introduction to the evening and film by director Darren Lynn Bousman and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich. A screening of Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival will follow, which will be concluded by a live audience Q&A session with the above filmmakers, where they will discuss their films and reveal sneak peeks of upcoming projects.

Exclusive Alleluia! merchandise, as well as intimate meet ’n’ greet opportunities with Bousman and Zdunich, are available for purchase at every stop, but tickets and VIP experiences are limited, so pre-orders are recommended. Note: personalized autographs and photo opportunities with the above filmmakers will only be available with VIP ticket packages.

Step right up and get your tickets and VIP packs here! www.TheDevilsCarnival.com

Now is your chance to witness the unruliness of Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival in your own town – visit this theatrical, musical road show as it traverses North America! Proceed with caution – this film and the coinciding daily activities at each tour stop may contain adult language, subject matter, and perhaps some tasteful violence…

The tour began with a bang in Hollywood, CA at the Egyptian Theatre on August 11th, featuring the official premiere screening and a star-studded red carpet. The first tour date lands in Tucson, AZ on August 26th and runs through mid-August, making its way back to Los Angeles on October 18th. Fans across the pond – don’t fret just yet!  Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival also has an evil eye aimed at Europe for next year…

Asking Alexandria To Release “Live From Brixton And Beyond” Live Concert DVD On December 15th

Asking Alexandria To Release “Live From Brixton And Beyond” Live Concert DVD On December 15th

Asking-Alexandria-2014-group

ASKING ALEXANDRIA–the riotous, genre-bending U.K.-based rock group that Alternative Press says “blurs the lines between solipsism and sociopathy, hedonism and nihilism, even as it throws metalcore, electronic music and a healthy dose of hair metal into a blender set on ‘awesome’”–have announced LIVE FROM BRIXTON AND BEYOND–a 2-Disc live concert DVD–to be released December 15 via Sumerian Records.

“At long last, we are FINALLY releasing our first ever DVD,” says guitarist BEN BRUCE. “We have been promising this DVD for a long time now, but trust me when I say it was worth the wait. There is so much unseen footage on this release including our sold-out show at Brixton in London, our reckless Halloween concert in Hollywood, intimate behind the scenes footage, the ‘Through Sin and Self Destruction’ short film and every music video we have ever recorded. It’s been a long time in the making but we hope you enjoy every second of this. Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years and welcome to the family.”

The LIVE FROM BRIXTON AND BEYOND 2-disc DVD features: 1) the full live set from ASKING ALEXANDRIA’s sold-out Brixton 02 Academy show in London, England; 2) behind the scenes and backstage footage from the Brixton 02 Academy show; 3) the unseen “Reckless Halloween” performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles; and 4) all of the group’s music videos and the “Through Sin and Self-Destruction” short film (see full tracklisting below). Watch the LIVE FROM BRIXTON AND BEYOND trailer (HERE) and pre-order the set (HERE).

ASKING ALEXANDRIA has released three albums, including their current album FROM DEATH TO DESTINY and has toured the world-over. Produced by Joey Sturgis and mixed by veteran rock radio kingmaker David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Of Mice & Men), FROM DEATH TO DESTINY fully embraces the high-flying sonic excess of Mötley Crüe, the dark electro of the pre-EDM era and the audio growl of the harder-edged bands they discovered as teenagers. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and #1 on the Independent Albums Chart in the U.S. and has launched three consecutive Top 20 Active Rock singles to date: “The Death of Me,” “Break Down the Walls” and current single “Moving On.” Just this week, “Moving On” hit the Top 15  making it the band’s highest charting single to date. The “Moving On” video has received over 2 million views and can be viewed (HERE).

Now in the midst of a headlining tour spanning Europe, the U.K. and Russia, the U.K.-based rock band will circle back to North America for a tour starting Nov. 28 in Tucson, AZ and wrapping Dec. 20 in Wilmington, NC (dates below).

ASKING ALEXANDRIA–DANNY WORSNOP (lead vocals), BEN BRUCE (lead guitars), CAMERON LIDDELL (guitars), SAM BETTLEY (bass) and JAMES CASSELLS (drums)–represent everything exciting and altogether invigorating about the hardest hitting rock n’ roll, both past and present. The group incorporates the modern hard rock sensibilities with the celebratory melodic spirit of the giant hooks of the ‘80s, the expert songwriting of the ‘90s and the unashamedly aggressive brutality of modern Millennium bravado. The electro-tinged and always unhinged miscreants have arrived armed with musical weapons owing as much to Skid Row and Guns N’ Roses as Korn and Killswitch Engage. After spending all summer on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival with Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Body Count (featuring Ice-T), Cannibal Corpse, Trivium, Miss May I, Mushroomhead, Suicide Silence and many more), the stage has been set both literally and figuratively for an even larger commercial breakthrough.
