Believe it or not, ‘Say Anything’ hit theaters 35 years ago today! 🍿

This classic 80s flick was written and directed by Cameron Crowe, his feature film directorial debut! The classic romantic comedy tracks the romance between Lloyd Dobler (played by John Cusack), a typical student, and Diane Court (portrayed by Ione Skye), the valedictorian of their class, right after they graduate from high school.

🔥Fun Fact: The Smithereens initially penned “A Girl Like You” for a movie, but its inclusion was nixed by the producers who felt it divulged too many plot details.
