20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of the classic comic strip, Marmaduke hits theaters on June 4th, 2010! To keep you entertained while waiting for this family flick to hit theaters you can check out four interactive games, “Jump and Fetch”, “Toilet B-Ball”, “Surfin’ With Marmaduke”, and “Destruction Derby”, that tie-in with the film. Poison frontman Bret Michaels continues to be watched closely by his doctors, after suffering a major brain hemorrhage late Thursday. According to a note posted on the singer’s Web site and Facebook page on Monday morning (April 26), the 47-year-old rocker “remains in ICU under 24-hour surveillance.
The incident occurred while Michaels was recovering at his Texas home from the emergency appendectomy on April 12th, 2010. The singer was overcome on Thursday by a blinding headache that prompted a 911 call. People magazine reported that an unnamed source said Michael’s was suffering from excruciating pain from the headache just moments before he was rushed to the emergency room. The source said Michael’s described headache as feeling like “[getting] hit in the head with a baseball bat over and over again.”
The singer is reportedly suffering from slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness as a result of the hemorrhage. Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday evening, where doctors discovered he had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, or bleeding at the base of his brain stem, a rep for the singer confirmed to MTV News.
A representative for Michaels has issued the following update:
“Once again we can’t thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and prayers being sent Bret’s way! As of now Bret remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding. Look for an official medical report from doctors this week. Please remember Bret is, and always has been, a fighter and survivor and is under the best medical care possible.
TMZ reports that Poison frontman and solo artist, Bret Michaels, was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, or bleeding at the base of his brain stem, according to People magazine.
Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the report, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day and underwent several tests — including CAT scans and MRIs.
The report claims it was determined Michaels suffered from a “subarachnoid hemorrage — bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
Michaels was rushed to a hospital on April 11 for an emergency appendectomy.

Phil Meheux (Edge of Darkness) is the director of photography and the production designer is Bill Boes (Beverly Hills Chihuahua). Sabrina Plisco (Beverly Hills Chihuahua) is the film’s editor, Maricel Pagulayan (Avatar) is the VFX Producer and Richard R. Hoover (Superman Returns) is the visual effects supervisor, with Sony Pictures Imageworks creating imagery and animation for the magical world of the Smurfs.
The Smurfs have added two new actors to lend their voices to the film. Jayma Mays (Glee) will play opposite Neil Patrick Harris his pregnant wife. Hank Azaria (The Simpsons) has been cast as the voice of Gargamel, the Smurfs sworn enemy.
Already cast in the film are Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Winters (the voice of Papa Smurf), George Lopez (Grouchy Smurf), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf) and Katy Perry (Smurfette).
The Smurfs is being directed by Raja Gosnell, director of Scooby-Doo and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Filming is slated to begin in April of 2010.
