The first look at Telltale Games’ “The Walking Dead” video game has arrived! Check it out below in all of it’s zombie filled glory! The full press release is below.

The game will launch the first of five episodes for $5 on PSN, PC and Mac, 400 Microsoft Points on XBLA, or as part of a $25 season pass from the Telltale online store, starting in “late April.”

Pre-ordering for PC and Mac through the Telltale online store makes the five-episode bundle 10 percent off, $22.50, and enters pre-orderers into a contest to be drawn into the fourth episode as a human survivor who is turned into a flesh-frenzied zombie.

Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman, the Eisner Award-winning creator/writer of The Walking Dead for Skybound/Image, announced today that the first trailer for their upcoming game, The Walking Dead, is available to view on the games’ official website.

Created by animator and director Daniel M. Kanemoto, the trailer blends 2D and 3D imagery in stunning fashion as homage to the art of the original comic book world on which Telltale’s game is based. Kanemoto was asked by Telltale to create the trailer because of a “fan made” Walking Dead title sequence he had made, which can be seen at the Exmortis Films website.

The first of five monthly episodes of The Walking Dead is set for release in late April on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360® for 400 Microsoft® Points, on PlayStation®Network for $4.99 and on PC and Mac as a season pass for $24.99 from the Telltale Online Store and other digital outlets. Information on additional formats will follow.

Telltale has also revealed details of a limited time pre-order offer available via their online store. Pre-order customers will get the chance to join the cast of the game in episode four, where they will be modeled as a human survivor before being killed and then returned to life as a ravenous zombie. Pre-ordering also qualifies customers for a 10% discount (get the 5 episode season for $22.49; normally $24.99).

Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, has been given a chance for redemption in a world devastated by the undead. Players will experience events, meet people and visit locations that foreshadow the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. The Walking Dead offers a tailored game experience – player actions, choices and decisions affect how the story plays out across the entire series.

The Walking Dead is rated ‘M’ (Mature) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence and Strong Language by the ESRB.

The legendary Don Rickles is heading to mobile devices by bringing his unique style of comedy to smartphones and tablets. The Don Rickles Mr. Warmth App is now available to download from the iTunes App Store or Android Market for $2.99. The app turns portable gadgets into a laugh-out-loud night club featuring the renowned Don Rickles, who zings everyone and anything.

Fans of “Mr. Warmth” can shake their smartphone or tap Rickles’ animated head to hear a random zinger. Users can also choose from a variety of topical categories to hear Rickles’ wisecracks about celebrities, political candidates, sports stars, and many others. No one is spared – Sarah Palin, Snooki, Tiger Woods, Donald Trump, Paris Hilton, not even Oprah, or the giants of late night including David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson. This application is sure to be a hit with “hockey pucks” who will enjoy new quips from Rickles, delivered in his classic style.

Rickles, who received two Primetime Emmy® Awards for the 2008 HBO Special Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project, earned the nicknames “The Merchant of Venom” and “Mr. Warmth” (coined affectionately by Johnny Carson) for his style of humor in which he pokes fun at people of all ethnicities and walks of life. Rickles began doing comedy after studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. When he began his career in the early 1950s, he started calling ill-mannered members of the audience “hockey puck,” a term associated with Rickles to this day.

Rickles has appeared in many movies and TV shows, including Casino, The Lucy Show, I Dream of Jeanie, Get Smart, Newhart, Murphy Brown, Saturday Night Live, C.P.O. Sharkey, Kelly’s Heroes, The Rat Race, Run Silent, Run Deep, and is the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story films. Another memorable TV moment came in 1985 when, at the request of Frank Sinatra, Rickles performed at Ronald Reagan’s second inaugural ball. Rickles considers this a highlight of his career.

Rickles has also found success in the areas of live theater, recordings and books. He toured in the award-winning stage play “The Odd Couple,” starring alongside Ernest Borgnine. Rickles has had two best-selling albums, and authored “Rickles’ Book,” which landed on The New York Times Best Seller List.

More recently, Rickles joined Joe Pesci in an oft-seen commercial for Snickers candy bar, and made a surprise appearance in a “cliff-hanger” episode as the “thought to be dead” husband of Betty White’s character on the TV Land comedy Hot In Cleveland. He returned to that show for a second episode for the “payoff.”

His free-wheeling style has been beloved by talk show hosts, having appeared on Johnny Carson over 100 times. He is still a much sought after guest on the talk show circuit frequently appearing with the greats of late night television.

Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman, the Eisner Award-winning creator/writer of The Walking Dead, announced that the first episode of Playing Dead, a new online talk show discussing their upcoming game, The Walking Dead, is now live and available to view on the games’ official website, which also debuted today.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s groundbreaking comic book series, The Walking Dead is an episodic Adventure Horror game series set during the same apocalyptic period witnessed by Sheriff Rick Grimes. Telling the story of a new group of survivors as they struggle to flee the horror of Atlanta and the surrounding communities consumed by the undead, The Walking Dead offers players the chance to experience the very first days of the apocalypse, meeting people and participating in events that intersect with the story seen in the comic books.

Playing Dead is an online talk show that takes fans behind the scenes to reveal what has gone into making the game. Hosted by AJ LoCascio (the voice of Marty McFly in Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game series), the nine-part show will feature guests including The Walking Dead creator/writer Robert Kirkman and Gary Whitta, screenwriter for The Book of Eli and story consultant for the game.

Apps Genius’ previous launch, “Snookify Me!” was launched in November and is available on Google’s Android Market and Apple’s iTunes. The App received widespread media attention and was leveraged on Nicole “Snooki’s” Polizzi Twitter feed, which has over 4.3 million followers; on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno; onThe Wendy Williams Show; and a host of other media outlets.

The Black Eyed Peas To Stream Concert For Charity On June 9th!

Tune in to watch the Black Eyed Peas rock Central Park live tomorrow, June 9th, during The Black Eyed Peas and Friends Concert 4 NYC.  BEP will be live streaming their concert at 7:35pm EST to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation which fights poverty in New York City.  The show is completely free and will feature the Peas performing fan-favorites including their new single, “Don’t Stop The Party,” along with some of their best friends.
