The official trailer for Werner Herzog’s (Grizzly Man) Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans has be released.
The film is a remake of sorts of Abel Ferrara’s infamous 1992 film, which originally starred tough guy Harvey Keitel. The new film stars Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Coolidge, Xhibit and Fairuza Balk.
The film focuses on Terence McDonough, a drug addicted cop, as he investigates the killing of five Senegalese immigrants in New Orleans.
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is slated to hit theaters in December 2009.
