Slash Ft Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators Annouce Summer U.S. Headlining Tour

Slash Ft Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators Annouce Summer U.S. Headlining Tour

As Slash ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators–Slash (guitars), Myles Kennedy (lead vocals), Todd Kerns (bass), Brent Fitz (drums) and Frank Sidoris (rhythm guitar) are currently on their worldwide tour through Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the U.K., the group has announced they’ll kick off a headlining U.S. tour this summer. The U.S. trek will launch on July 15 in San Francisco and wrap-up August 13 in Orlando. Tickets will go on-sale this Friday, February 8 at 10AM local time and are available at http://www.slashonline.com.

The iconic, GRAMMY-winning guitarist Slash and his band, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators are touring worldwide in support of their acclaimed third album LIVING THE DREAM and will release the new single “Mind Your Manners”–which Rolling Stone hailed “a menacing blues-rocker”–to radio starting today, February 4. The song–which already debuted at #39 ahead of its official radio impact date–follows the first single Driving Rain–Slash’s fastest rising single to date—which recently became the band’s 5th Top 5 hit in a row at Rock Radio.

“I wrote ‘Mind Your Manners’ on the spot to help the band get up and running once we got back in the studio,” explains Slash. “It’s just a go-for-it type of rock song. Straightforward and fun to play.”

“’Mind Your Manners’ was something I didn’t even hear until the guys had already started jamming together in the studio,” adds Myles Kennedy. “I listened to the final rough arrangement, and I thought it was a really cool, up-tempo sort of thing.’ Lyrically, it’s about how when things are going well there always tends to be someone who tries to rain on your parade and knock you down. You have to keep people like that in check and not let them get to you.”

Loudwire hailed “Mind Your Manners” as “the album’s most infectious rock single” while Rolling Stone added “The guitarist alternates between ragged power chords and squealing solos throughout the song; on the chorus, Kennedy layers his voice into stacked harmonies.” Elsewhere, The Guardian described the riff-rocker, “slithers and slides, with a dirty boogie.”

The group called-out to fans who created a live music video of their electrifying two hour show on the final date of their sold-out, U.S. headlining tour last fall; watch the “Mind Your Manners” fan clip HERE.

LIVING THE DREAM (Snakepit Records/RoadRunner Records) is the third full-length offering from Slash ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators. The Los Angeles Times described the album as, “his best work since the demise of Velvet Revolver. …full of “unexpected funk, boogie, blues and garage rock influences.” While Rolling Stone declared the album, “a biting blues filigree at the end of a riff, weeping solos full of long notes, boogie-woogie riffs.” Elsewhere, Classic Rock hailed, “the bands third and Best Album, ‘The Great Pretender’ is the album’s masterpiece and one of the best things Slash has ever done.” Fans can purchase or stream LIVING THE DREAM HERE. Fueled by the Top 5rock song “Driving Rain,” its live-action, animated video as well as the best critical acclaim of their career, LIVING THE DREAM debuted with 10, Top 10 chart placements around the world.  The first single “Driving Rain” which jumped to the Top #5–marks the band’s 6th consecutive, Top 10 single at radio and Slash’s fastest-rising single ever in his solo career.

Myles Kennedy Releases Music Video For “The Great Beyond”

Myles Kennedy Releases Music Video For “The Great Beyond”

The hardest working singer in rock music, Myles Kennedy, just released the latest music video for the song “The Great Beyond” from his debut solo album Year Of The Tiger. The new video comes on the heels of wrapping a US tour run with Slash and The Conspirators on the success of their latest single “Driving Rain.” The video is shot in black and white and features performance footage of the song from various stops on Myles’ sold-out summer tour of Europe, a tour that saw him perform the material live for the first time with his backing band from the album: Tim Tournier on bass and Zia Uddin on drums and percussion. You can watch the video for “The Great Beyond” below and Year Of The Tiger is available now wherever music is sold or by clicking here:  http://smarturl.it/MK-YearOfTheTiger.

Myles Kennedy, not one to spend a lot of time at home, is heading back out on tour of the United States in support of his critically acclaimed debut solo album Year Of The Tiger, courtesy of Napalm Records. The 18-date US tour will kick-off on November 13th in Chicago, IL and run through December 16th where it wraps up in Seattle, WA. Along the way, the tour will make stops in Milwaukee, WI; Cleveland, OH; Hartford, CT and Atlanta, GA among others. The performances will feature music from the critically acclaimed solo album as well as selections from Myles’ work with Alter Bridge, The Mayfield Four and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Walking Papers will be openers on all of the dates as well. All shows are currently on-sale and all tour information including ticket links and VIP information for all dates can be found at www.MylesKennedy.com.

On the Year Of The Tiger album, Myles embarked on his first venture as a solo artist by embracing musical elements and influences he hadn’t explored previously in his career. Kennedy himself played banjo, lap steel, bass, and mandolin in addition to guitar throughout the album. The emotional journey and personal story of Myles is captured in a bluesy-americana album with a twist of country and rock, swirling and flowing around the incredible, soulful voice that the world has come to know. As MetalSucks.comdeclared: “Kennedy is the Robert Plant of our times.”

Myles Kennedy burst on the music scene in 1990, but it wasn¹t until 1995, through his band The Mayfield Four, that he gained some notoriety. It was when the Mayfield Four toured opening for hitmakers Creed that Myles Kennedy would meet Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips. This meeting would eventually lead to the formation of Alter Bridge, the band that would become Myles¹ calling card to the world. The band released their debut album One Day Remains that would end up being certified Gold by the RIAA and the band would go on to sell millions of records worldwide over the course of 5 studio albums with the band. In 2008, the legacy of Myles Kennedy was circling the music industry and eventually found its way to members of Led Zeppelin. A now legendary story, Myles was asked to jam with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham for a potential project that never materialized. In 2009, Guns N¹ Roses guitarist Slash was working on a solo project and tapped Myles Kennedy to do vocals on 2 songs on that release. That partnership would lead to Myles becoming the vocalist for his other rock band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. They have released 2 albums under that moniker. This relationship would also lead to Myles Kennedy singing for the iconic Guns N¹ Roses at their Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2012 after band founder Axl Rose was unable to attend. Through Myles’ various projects, he has appeared on The Tonight Show; Jimmy Kimmel Live; Conan; has had music used by the WWE, Major League Baseball and NASCAR to name a few; and appeared in the motion picture Rock Star. 2018 will mark a new chapter in Myles¹ career as he will be releasing his long-awaited debut solo album Year Of The Tiger. The album is a whole new direction for Myles creatively and showcases the talent that has made him one of the premiere frontmen in modern music today.

Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Announce Third Studio Album For Fall 2018 Release

Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Announce Third Studio Album For Fall 2018 Release

SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS will return this fall with their as-yet-untitled third studio album. The group-SLASH (Guitar), MYLES KENNEDY (Vocals), BRENT FITZ (Drums), TODD KERNS (Bass & Vocals) and FRANK SIDORIS(Guitar & Vocals)–has entered the studio with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Iggy Pop, Incubus). Expect the group to announce a full North American tour for the fall.

This same team worked on the group’s last album World On Fire, tagged by Guitar World as “another bold and unapologetically riffy statement” and “a varied, immersive and incredibly hard rocking effort” (December 2014). Rolling Stonedescribed Apocalyptic Love–the band’s debut album and SLASH’s second solo release overall–as “filled with head bangers and plenty of fancy fretwork” and Revolverdeclared it “a collection of lean, high-octane rock-and-roll tunes built to be blasted out of open-top sports cars, or more suitably, open-air stadiums” (May 2012).

“I’m excited about the new stuff we put together for this next record; it’s got some cool songs and it’s got a great live feel.” explains SLASH. “I’ve been working with Myles, Brent and Todd for about 8 years now. It’s been an amazing ride so far; as a band we continue to get better which is great. With the addition of Frank since the ‘World On Fire’ tour, I feel we have hit a great, creative stride which I definitely think shows on this next record.” SLASH adds, “Guns N’ Roses will be headlining European festivals this summer, it’s going to be a 110% performance and a huge blast. I love doing European fests and this is the first time we’ve done any proper festivals over there on the ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’. It’s indescribable to explain these shows. I’m looking over and seeing Axl, Duff and Dizzy whom I’ve known forever, but it also feels like an entirely new experience with Richard, Frank and Melissa. It’s like being in a new band, except there’s a chemistry that is established from days of old, so it’s a natural thing that’s always been there.”

Alter Bridge To Release Fifth Studio Album, ‘The Last Hero,’ On October 7th

alterbridge-thelasthero-2016-1

Alter Bridge has been a band known for blurring the line between hard rock and heavy metal. As assets in both musical genres, the band returns with their fifth studio album, The Last Hero. The album is scheduled for worldwide release on October 7th by Caroline Records in the United States/Canada and Napalm Records throughout the rest of the globe. The thirteen track opus marks a creative highpoint for the quartet comprised of Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums. The album is now available for pre-order via iTunesAmazon and Google Play. Fans who order the album will receive an instant download of the debut single “Show Me A Leader.” The album will be available in various fan bundles at www.Alterbridge.com/store and fans can get exclusive early access to the band’s ticket pre-sale by pre-ordering any item in the store. “Show Me A Leader” is also streaming on SpotifyThe Last Hero was produced by longtime friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Slash, Tremonti Trivium, etc) and mastered by Grammy award winner Ted Jensen.

From the first notes of album opener “Show Me A Leader” to the final notes of the epic title track “The Last Hero,” it is clear that Alter Bridge are back with their most complete musical work to date. While exploring musical influences and styles from throughout the band’s twelve-year history, The Last Hero has a unifying thread starting with the idea of timeless heroismSongs like “Poison In Your Veins” and “Losing Patience” capture the signature sound that have recruited Alter Bridge fans around the world. The band also explores their softer side with the heartfelt rocker “My Champion” and the emotional ballad “You Will Be Remembered.” The first single “Show Me A Leader” premiered on Sirius/XM’s Octane yesterday and a lyric video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/TIM-sALG9fI.

“Lyrically, it reflects the frustrations that a lot of people are feeling with the current state of the world,” admits Myles Kennedy about the new single. “The world is looking for trustworthy effective leadership and not this undignified dog and pony show that’s really made a mockery of our system.”

“It’s indicative of our process,” Mark Tremonti adds. “Myles had this guitar intro that I loved, and I had the chorus. We put them together. The words call out for a proper leader.”

Alter Bridge is heading out on select U.S. headline dates in support of The Last Hero this coming September. The headline run kicks off September 22nd in Destin, FL. The tour will make stops in San Antonio, TX; Minneapolis, MN; Lincoln, NE; Charlotte, NC; and Nashville, TN. The band will also perform at a few festival dates this Fall including the inaugural Houston Open Air Festival, Sonic Boom, Louder Than Life and the Tulsa State Fair. Tickets for their U.S headline dates will go on-sale July 29th and fans can get exclusive early access to the band’s ticket pre-sale by pre-ordering any item from their official U.S store (www.Alterbridge.com/store). The band is currently on tour through the end of August playing with Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Saint Asonia.

Alter Bridge burst onto the music scene in 2004 with the release of their gold-selling debut, One Day Remains. In 2007, the band released Blackbird, the album that elevated the band’s profile worldwide. The epic solo in the title track “Blackbird” was voted “Greatest Guitar Solo Of All Time” by Guitarist Magazine. ABIII was released in 2010 and the single “Isolation” gave the band their first #1 single. In 2013, the band reached an elevated creative and critical plateau with Fortress. It bowed at #12 on the Billboard Top 200, moving over 30,000 copies first-week and earning unanimous tastemaker praise. The record garnered perfect scores from Total Guitar and KERRANG! as well as acclaim from BillboardThe GuardianLoudwireUltimate Guitar, and many more. In between sold out tours in Europe and North America, the guys appeared on VH1 and graced the cover of Classic Rock Magazine who labeled Fortress, “The best thing they’ve ever done,” while Eddie Trunk called it, “A top 10 album of the last 10 years.” Alter Bridge has appeared on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live and their music has been used by the WWE, Major League Baseball and NASCAR to name a few.

SLASH and his bandmates Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators—MYLES KENNEDY (vocals), BRENT FITZ (drums), TODD KERNS(bass) and FRANK SIDORIS (guitar)–will return this September with their third studio album, title TBA and second album with this line-up. The group is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2012’s Apocalyptic Love which is being helmed by producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Falling In Reverse, Incubus). The group is recording a total of 17 songs–including one instrumental.  “It’s very rock. It’s more up-tempo than the last record was,” states vocalist KENNEDY. “Slash has got some really great riffs on this record. Killer stuff…” “The material on this album is more serious and more fun at the same time, which is a tough balance,” addsbassist TODD KERNS. “The songs are sleazier, tougher and more dangerous. We’re all very excited to unleash the monster upon you as soon as we can.”

SLASH officially began recording as a solo artist with his self-titled 2010 debut album which employed a different vocalist on each track of his first album including Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie and Myles Kennedy among others. SLASH explains, “We’ve worked really well together from the start. I never thought about how it’s progressed. It’s real natural and like any sort of close relationship, we established it early on and now we’re just sort of doing our thing, it’s just a really cool kind of synergy that we’ve got.” Apocalyptic Love earned SLASH two first-ever No. 1 U.S. rock radio hits with “You’re A Lie” and “Standing In The Sun.” The album’s third single, “Anastasia,” cracked the Top 10 at Modern and Active Rock and Top Five at Mainstream Rock.
