Placentia, CA based psych/hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings have released a new music video for “Walk The Line” featuring C4mula from their deluxe edition album Krown Power, that is out now via United Family Music / Capitol Records. “Walk The Line” is a pulse thumping track about getting through the tough parts of life.

The track features underground rapper C4mula who knows all about hard times and walking the line. According to OC Weekly ” the list of near-death experiences he has racked up at the ripe old age of 29 is pretty astounding. Flipping over in cars in two separate accidents, the victim in a malicious hit and run outside of Malone’s in Santa Ana, having multiple guns pulled in his face, surviving a nearly lethal bout of alcoholism—all that barely covers half of it. ”

Nearly 20 years ago, Kottonmouth Kings’ popularity began when word spread about their unique and original style that came to be known as “Rip-Hop”. Over the years, this iconic group has built a huge fan base who feel inspired by their lifestyle, their music and their fashion. The group released their first full-length album on United Family Music Group, their new label founded by KMK front man, Brad “Daddy X” Xavier.

Kottonmouth Kings Reunite With Saint Dog To Record New Album “Mile High”

Kottonmouth Kings Reunite With Saint Dog To Record New Album “Mile High”

Long Live The Kings!

To mark the release of the group’s monumental thirteenth studio album, “Mile High”, the Kottonmouth Kings reunited with Saint Dog, the original emcee who appeared on the group’s debut album and spit his lispy rhymes on classic songs like “Suburban Life” and “Bump”. Saint Dog recorded the explosive new cut “Judgment Day” on “Mile High”, which sees him ripping it up with the Kings on record for the first time since he recorded 1998’s “Royal Highness”.

“D-Loc had a song idea and thought it would be cool to get Saint Dog on it. We flew Saint out from Minnesota and just started vibing on music together and reviving that musical chemistry we had together,” commented Brad X. “We initially just went in to record just the one track, but once we got in the studio together we just started banging out songs and came out with six new songs. I think it was really therapeutic for all of us and it was a great creative spark on this record.”

“Mile High” is the Kottonmouth Kings on steroids with a twist of ecstasy and a pot brownie. “Mile High” has the Kings passing the mic around like the Harlem Globetrotters pass a basketball and spitting lyrical fire. To help “Mile High” truly take flight, the Kings were joined in the studio by some of the sickest emcees in the underground including Swollen Members, Jahred from (Hed)p.e., Mickey Avalon, and the demented duo Twiztid. To tie it all together the Kings created some mind altering X-Rated album artwork for that is only available for a limited time online at http://bit.ly/IX7NlM.

The Kottonmouth Kings will hit the road with horror master Prozak, underground heavyweight Big B, and country hip-hop misfits the Moonshine Bandits for The Mile High Tour beginning July 30th in Santa Cruz, CA.
