Tech N9ne Teams With Boulevard Brewery For “Bou Lou” Craft Beer Collaboration

Boulevard Brewing and Strange Music today announced that fans will soon have the opportunity to celebrate a collaboration between two Kansas City originals – Boulevard and Tech N9ne. Inspired by one of Tech N9ne’s best-loved tunes, Bou Lou is an enticing improvisation on Boulevard’s Unfiltered Wheat Beer, bursting with flavors of pineapple and coconut.

Boulevard Brewing and Tech N9ne have deep roots in Kansas City. Boulevard released its first beer in 1989. Two years later, Tech N9ne began his musical career. In the years since, both have flourished beyond their wildest dreams, becoming institutions in their shared hometown and parts well beyond.

“This is an alliance that had to happen,” said Boulevard president Jeff Krum. “Working with Tech and the Strange Music team has been a real privilege. Their creativity, attention to detail and commitment to excellence made it clear to all of us why they’ve achieved such remarkable and sustained success.”

“Being from Kansas City, the Boulevard Brewing name has always been held in high regard,” said Strange Music CEO/president Travis O’Guin. “We both strive to create products that place us in the upper echelon of our respective industries, so to be able to collaborate with the Boulevard team on such a unique project is an honor.”

The limited release beer will debut at this summer’s Boulevardia festival, to be held June 15 and 16 in KC’s Stockyards District. Tech N9ne will top the bill at the urban street party on Friday night. Bou Lou, packaged in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans, will hit shelves starting Monday, June 18 in select markets including Kansas City, Lawrence, Wichita, Springfield and Denver.

Tech N9ne Announces Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018

Tech N9ne Announces Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018

Tech N9ne is announcing his Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018. Scheduled to run April 17, 2018 through June 23, 2018, Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018 will stop at more than 60 cities and will also feature Krizz Kaliko, Just Juice, Joey Cool and King Iso.

The trek is set to launch April 17 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and conclude June 23 in Denver, Colorado. Other notable dates on the tour include two nights in Seattle (April 27 and 29), a May 10 appearance in Los Angeles, the May 20 stop in Houston and a May 25 performance in Atlanta. For VIP fan club packages, the up-to-date tour itinerary and additional information about the Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018, visit strangevip.com.

Tech N9ne’s Planet Tour 2018 is named after Tech N9ne’s forthcoming Planet album, which is set for a March 2, 2018 release. Mackenzie Nicole, Krizz Kaliko, Darrien Safron and Joey Cool are among the guests on the project, which features such songs as “Tech N9ne (Don’t Nobody Want None),” “Levitation” and “We Won’t Go Quietly.”

With 2018 just underway, Tech N9ne is carrying the momentum he generated in 2017 into the New Year. In 2017, Tech N9ne released two Collabos projects. In April, Dominion arrived in stores. Strange Reign was released in October and inspired the name of Tech N9ne’s Strange Reign Tour 2017, a tour that included stops in the United States and Canada in September and October.

Tech N9ne also joined an exclusive music industry circle in June 2017. That’s when the Kansas City rapper’s “Caribou Lou” single surpassed the 1 million copies sold mark, according to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). It was Tech N9ne’s first platinum plaque, putting him in rarefied air, especially for an independent artist.

Insane Clown Posse Unveils Epic Infomercial For The 17th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos!

gathering-of-the-juggalos-2017

It’s that time of year!  Detroit horrorcore rap legends Insane Clown Posse have unleashed their informercial revealing the full lineup for the 17th annual Gathering of the Juggalos!  The announcement of The Gathering and the informercials showcasing the event have become a much beloved internet tradition as we prepare to kick off the summer.

The infomercial, a homage and send up of the great infomercials of the ‘70s and ‘80s, depicts Gathering 17 as the only music festival in these United States where a person can be cured of Staleness, which affects people all over the world due to constant exposure to banal entertainment.

Gathering 17 assembles the best underground performers of hip-hop and rock-n-roll, including pop culture icons INSANE CLOWN POSSE, as well as TECH N9NE, TWIZTID, and the undisputed champion of rap storytelling…SLICK RICK!

Other performers scheduled to perform over the three-day include deathcore legends SUICIDE SILENCE, as well as EMMURE, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, and the depraved comedic antics of the iconic GWAR, not to mention, ‘90s legend…GREEN JELLY!

The 26-minute infomercial for Gathering 17 can be viewed on Psychopathic Records’ YouTube channel or check it out below!

ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL Musical Film Tour To Kick Off 40 City Run On August 26th

ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL Musical Film Tour To Kick Off 40 City Run On August 26th

the-devils-carnival-2015-2

Hell ain’t got a prayer that could stop this tour: Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival, the sequel to cult-sensation film The Devil’s Carnival, will be featured nightly on its special musical road show tour, stopping in 40 North American cities this summer and fall!

But before we discuss the tour, a bit about the film: Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival features a thrilling cast full of top horror and classic mainstream film stars, in addition to some of today’s top musical talent in acting roles! Fantasized by the team of celebrated film director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, and IV) and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich – who also collaborated on musical cult films Repo! The Genetic Opera (which The Hollywood Reporter embraces as “this generation’s Rocky Horror Picture Show”) and the original The Devil’s Carnival – Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival stars Zdunich, in addition to actors Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), David Hasselhoff (Baywatch, Knightrider, Dodgeball), Adam Pascal (RENT), Dayton Callie (Sons of Anarchy, Deadwood), Briana Evigan (Step Up Film Franchise), Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show) and many more. Additionally, chart topping musicians Emilie Autumn, Tech N9ne, Danny Worsnop (We Are Harlot, Ex-Asking Alexandria), Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey (Butcher Babies), Ogre (Skinny Puppy), and Jimmy Urine (Mindless Self Indulgence) and more grace the screen in this macabre masterpiece.

the-devils-carnival-2015-1

In Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival, Lucifer (Zdunich) incites Heaven’s wrath by dispatching train cars full of condemned souls a-crashin’ through the pearly gates. God (Sorvino), in response, readies his top negotiator, The Agent (Pascal), for a trip down to The Carnival to put an end to the rebellious deeds. Take an insider’s look at the first scene from the film and the opening music sequence “Shovel and Bone”, in addition to three film teasers featuring Tech N9ne, Danny Worsnop, and Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey here via Loudwirehttp://loudwire.com/alleluia-the-devils-carnival-shovel-and-bone-exclusive-video-premiere/

Now about that tour… Each evening of the Alleluia! Tour will begin with a live, local and little opening act (although these pre-show routines may include dwarves, the word little refers to their running times—think of movie previews with a pulse), followed by an introduction to the evening and film by director Darren Lynn Bousman and writer-actor Terrance Zdunich. A screening of Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival will follow, which will be concluded by a live audience Q&A session with the above filmmakers, where they will discuss their films and reveal sneak peeks of upcoming projects.

Exclusive Alleluia! merchandise, as well as intimate meet ’n’ greet opportunities with Bousman and Zdunich, are available for purchase at every stop, but tickets and VIP experiences are limited, so pre-orders are recommended. Note: personalized autographs and photo opportunities with the above filmmakers will only be available with VIP ticket packages.

Step right up and get your tickets and VIP packs here! www.TheDevilsCarnival.com

Now is your chance to witness the unruliness of Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival in your own town – visit this theatrical, musical road show as it traverses North America! Proceed with caution – this film and the coinciding daily activities at each tour stop may contain adult language, subject matter, and perhaps some tasteful violence…

The tour began with a bang in Hollywood, CA at the Egyptian Theatre on August 11th, featuring the official premiere screening and a star-studded red carpet. The first tour date lands in Tucson, AZ on August 26th and runs through mid-August, making its way back to Los Angeles on October 18th. Fans across the pond – don’t fret just yet!  Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival also has an evil eye aimed at Europe for next year…

Tech’s tour- and label-mate, MURS, is also releasing an album this spring. Have A Nice Life will be MURS‘ first solo release since signing with Strange Music, and is set to drop on May 19, 2015. MURS recently released the video for the first single on the album for the track “Okey Dog.”

The Special Effects album and tour arrive after a banner 2014 for Tech N9ne. In May, he released his Strangeulation collabos album, which debuted as the #1 independent, #1 rap and #5 overall album in the country on The Billboard Top 200.

TECH N9NE‘s “Fragile” single, which also featured Kendrick Lamar¡Mayday! and Kendall Morgan, was Tech’s biggest radio hit to date, peaking at #11 on the Rhythmic radio chart. The cut’s success led to Tech performing the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June.

As Strangeulation and “Fragile” ruled the charts and radio, respectively, TECH N9NE was traversing the United States and Canada in 2014, headlining three tours. The Independent Grind Tour featured Freddie Gibbs, Jarren Benton and Psych Ward Druggies, while his Tech N9ne’sBand Of Psychos Tour paired TECH N9NE with a live band for the first time in his career. TECH N9NE also went north of the border for the 2014 Strangeulation Canadian Tour and performed at several festivals including the Aftershock Music Festival and Slipknot‘s annual Knotfest.

Big Reeno

Having just wrapped up a stretch of tour dates with T-Pain, Tech N9ne, and Yelawolf, BIG REENO has unveiled his brand new music video for “Cold as Ice (The Layover)” which premiered yesterday on Good Music All Day.

The track is the third single from his recent EP – Watch My Indie Throne.

“Sampling the classic 1977 Foreigner single and speeding up the tempo, Big Reeno lays down some raw vocals to spice up the track.” -Good Music All Day

“I am a fan of rock music, so “Cold As Ice” was just a fun record I made to bring both worlds together. I guess you can say it’s my version of Run DMC & Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” [laughs].” -BIG REENO
