Insane Clown Posse Ask “Where Is God?” In Controversial and Thought Provoking New Video

Insane Clown Posse Ask “Where Is God?” In Controversial and Thought Provoking New Video

insaneclownposse

Since the beginning of their career, there has been speculation about Insane Clown Posse’s religious beliefs. Now, for the first time ever, ICP address the issue head on in their new music video “Where’s God?”

The video, which was shot on location in the streets of Detroit, features the arresting and controversial image of ICP members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope carrying huge wooden crosses down a blighted street, as well as rapping in a church. Certain to generate much discussion, ICP hopes “Where’s God?” gives people something to ponder this Easter weekend.

Insane Clown Posse member Violent J released the following statement: “Where’s God? I think everybody at one time or another has had these feelings and questioned their own faith. It’s crazy. Looking around at the world sometimes, how can you believe in God and how can you not? I hope this video makes the point that nobody can be certain about anything. All we can do is hope.”

Insane Clown Posse Pay Tribute To Old School Campy Flicks In ‘Night of The Chainsaw’ Video

Insane Clown Posse Pay Tribute To Old School Campy Flicks In ‘Night of The Chainsaw’ Video

The Insane Clown Posse (ICP) recently released its horror movie inspired music video “Night of the Chainsaw”, the second music video from the duo’s The Mighty Death Pop album, which debuted at #4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.

It has been a couple months since ICP’s newest multiple disc, musical project The Mighty Death Pop (MDP) was released, and since then the face-painted duo has been super busy promoting the album, performing on its Hallowicked tour, and, of course, filming multiple, mind blowing music videos. ICP’s first music video entitled “Chris Benoit”, directed by French team The Deka Brothers, caused a little controversy as the subject matter of the song is about the horrific murders and suicide committed by the late pro-wrestler Chris Benoit.  The “Chris Benoit” video was so well made and interesting that it was one of only fifty videos submitted to a category of a Paris based film festival entitled Proclip Festival.  So, how does a band follow-up such a successful video?  Well, it creates another amazing visual story, but this time adds in gore, drugs, and murder!  I guess Insane Clown Posse got that memo because “Night of the Chainsaw” definitely measures up!

In “Night of the Chainsaw”, the second music video off The Mighty Death Pop album, Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J decided to shy away from controversy, but still wanted to give the music industry and Juggalos exactly what they would expect from a pair of Wicked Clowns – shocking, visual horror with a tiny bit of humor.  The “Night of the Chainsaw” video embraces the campy feel of good ole scary movies, having a dark, gritty look, green zombie blood splattering everywhere, and true madness from beginning until end.  Along with numerous zombies and the Insane Clowns themselves, Mark Jury stars in the music video as the chainsaw wielding maniac.  Juggalos may recognize Mark Jury as he played “Dirty Sanchez” in ICP’s 2010 film release Big Money Rustlas. ICP used long time friend of the label, Roy Knyrim of SOTA Productions to shoot and direct the music video, and the final edit was done by Psychopathic Records’ in-house video production team, which proved to be a great team effort as the “Night of the Chainsaw” music video ended up being pretty darn devastating!

Watch it here and decide for yourself…

Insane Clown Posse Unleash Video For “It’s All Over”

Insane Clown Posse Unleash Video For “It’s All Over”

The always controversial Insane Clown Posse has just unleashed the fifth official video from their latest album, ‘Bang Pow Boom’. Check out the video for “It’s All Over” below and weigh in with your thoughts.

In related news, the Federal Bureau of Investigation recently began to classify fans of the rap group Insane Clown Posse, collectively known as Juggalos, as a gang. Good to see our tax dollars hard at work, right?

Here is what the FBI says about Juggalos:

“Most crimes committed by Juggalos are sporadic, disorganized, individualistic, and often involve simple assault, personal drug use and possession, petty theft, and vandalism. However, open source reporting suggests that a small number of Juggalos are forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity, such as felony assaults, thefts, robberies, and drug sales.

“Many criminal Juggalo subsets are comprised of transient or homeless individuals, according to law enforcement reporting. Most Juggalo criminal groups are not motivated to migrate based upon traditional needs of a gang. However, law enforcement reporting suggests that Juggalo criminal activity has increased over the past several years and has expanded to several other states. Transient, criminal Juggalo groups pose a threat to communities due to the potential for violence, drug use/sales, and their general destructive and violent nature.”

Many years ago the Insane Clown Posse celebrated Halloween night in Detroit, MI with a small concert that they entitled “Hallowicked”.  This October 31st, eighteen consecutive Halloween nights later, not only is the face painted duo still engaging costumed Juggalos with their highly entertaining, super energetic, festive Hallowicked show in its usual Detroit location, the event will also be broadcasted live on internet Pay-Per View.  Juggalos across the globe will finally be able to memorialize Halloween live with ICP at the group’s most anticipated performance of the year!  Twiztid and Blaze Ya Dead Homie will also be performing and included in the premiere broadcast of the label’s 18th Annual Hallowicked.

Psychopathic Records’ “Double Creature Feature” would not be a double without another show, so what other better creatures to broadcast live than Dark Lotus?!   By making a Pay-Per-View purchase on October 27th, Juggalos everywhere can be captivated by the mysticism and enigmatic nature of Dark Lotus when the supergroup plays in Rochester, NY.  This will be the second live, internet broadcast of a Dark Lotus show, as their performance at this year’s past Gathering of the Juggalos was the first.

Insane Clown Posse Announces The “American Psycho Tour”

The Insane Clown Posse’s “American Psycho Tour” includes supporting artists Twiztid and Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and is scheduled to begin its nationwide stint on September 26, 2011, and end on Halloween night in Detroit with the duo’s Hallowicked show.

Like with any tour that ICP headlines, anyone attending the “American Psycho Tour” can expect devastating, colorful stage sets with dancing zombies and clowns, plus massive crowds of Faygo covered Juggalos chanting “Whoop Whoop”.  And to create even more anticipation and excitement in the underground, Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J decided to bring along label cohorts Twiztid and Blaze, making this Psychopathic Records’ biggest, nationwide campaign to date.

Not only will ICP, Twiztid and Blaze perform their individual sets at all scheduled “American Psycho Tour” dates, but on separate dates the three artists will combine to perform as the independent label’s “Super Groups” – Dark Lotus and Psychopathic Rydas.  Dark Lotus will perform at its own shows, which will be separate dates from the “American Psycho Tour” dates.  As for Psychopathic Rydas, this group will perform at official after parties only.  Be on the lookout for all Dark Lotus and Psychopathic Rydas dates, as only a few have been scheduled thus far.  Lastly, as Psychopathic tradition has held for the past seventeen years, ICP will celebrate Halloween night in Detroit, MI with its infamous Hallowicked event, ending the “American Psycho Tour” with a Bang! Pow! Boom!

Additionally, Psychopathic Records is releasing a CD to help commemorate the historic tour, which will properly be entitled American Psycho.  This release will be a collection of new music, including ICP and Twiztid tracks, plus one ICP/Twiztid collaboration.  The album will be available for sale at each show and online at  www.hatchetgear.com, eventually making its way into stores nationwide.  Juggalos will go rabid over this rare release!
