Some good news for fans of the SAW franchise. According to Variety, Lionsgate has officially green lit SAW VII, with (former SAW production designer and SAW V director) David Hackl returning to direct the film.
Production on the film is set to begin in January 2010. Marcus Dunsten and Patrick Melton wrote SAW IV, V, VI are returning to write the seventh film in the ever-growing franchise.
