‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Remake Star Thomas Dekker Arrested On Suspicion of DUI

so-fresh-thomas-dekkerTMZ.com is reporting that actor Thomas Dekker best known for his role as John Connor in Fox’s ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ was arrested last night on suspicion of DUI after allegedly hitting a bicyclist. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 21-year-old “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” actor was busted around 9pm Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley. He’s currently being held on suspicion of felony DUI and causing bodily harm. His bail is set at $100,000. More on this as it develops.

Update: According to the report, CHP officers who arrived to the scene claim they observed “a collision involving a silver Toyota Matrix and a bicycle blocking the #2 lane on the on-ramp.”

The report explains that the victim was “ejected” from his bike and fell onto the street. Cops say he was eventually transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

Cops then suspected that Dekker had been drinking and arrested him for “DUI resulting in an injury to a party involved in a traffic collision.”

Thomas Dekker’s next big role is the remake of ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ were he stars alongside cast members Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Katie Cassidy, Rooney Mara, Thomas Dekker, Clancy Brown, and Kellan Lutz.
