The wife of 80s icon Corey Feldman, Susannah (Susie) Feldman, has filed for divorce from the actor citeing irreconcilable differences.
The split comes after seven years of marriage. Court records in Los Angeles show that Mrs. Feldman wants sole custody of their 5-year-old son Zen with visitation rights for Corey Feldman, as well as an unspecified amount of spousal support.
The couple wed in October 2002, nine months after meeting in a nightclub while on the set of VH1’s “The Surreal Life,” according to People.com. MC Hammer and a rabbi reportedly officiated at their wedding ceremony.
Feldman, 38, rose to fame in ’80s films “The Goonies” and “The Lost Boys.” Feldman currently has several projects in the works such as a collaboration with renowned horror filmmaker Roger Corman called ‘Splatter’ and the third installment of the ‘Lost Boys’ franchise that is slated to begin shooting in South Africa this November, with Dario Piana (The Deaths of Ian Stone) directing.
