MTV has debuted the first official trailer for Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in Floria Sigismondi’s The Runaways! The biopic is based on Currie’s memoir “Neon Angel: the Cherie Currie Story.” a biopic of ’70s all-girl rock band that stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, Stella Maeve as Sandy West, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lita Ford, and Michael Shannon as Kim Fowley.
The film is currently slated for a March 19, 2010 release.
