Nothing is off-limits for Amy Schumer! Her new extended and uncensored DVD, Amy Schumer: Mostly Sexy Stuff will be released by Comedy Central on January 29th.
Before a live audience at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco, Schumer airs every hilarious, messed up detail of her dating and sex life, from encounters with unexpected body parts to hate-filled personal grooming appointments. In her matter-of-fact raunchy style, at odds with her self-described “Cabbage Patch Kid” appearance, Schumer tells stories of a boyfriend who makes dirty requests over dinner, the way she outsmarts her birth control, and a shocking ending to a seemingly innocent cab ride.
Bonus features on the DVD include pre-show with Schumer and her sister, and Schumer’s extended performances from the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen” and the “Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr.”
The highly-rated world premiere of her first original one-hour stand-up special, “Amy Schumer: Mostly Sex Stuff,” debuted on Comedy Central in August of 2012.
Schumer, a breakout performer on the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, once again took the dais as a Roaster at this past summer’s “Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne.” Comedy Central recently announced it has greenlit Schumer’s new series Inside Amy Schumer, which debuts April 30 and will feature single-camera vignettes centered around a theme with Schumer playing heightened versions of herself. She has been featured as one of Variety’s “Top Ten Comics to Watch” and had a spread this year in Rolling Stone magazine. Recently appearing in “Seeking a Friend at the End of the World,” starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, Schumer also has appeared on “Delocated” on Adult Swim, HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and “30 Rock,” and has been seen regularly on MTV and VH1’s “Best Week Ever” and “I Love the 80s.”
