If you are a ‘Star Wars’ fan like us, prepare yourselves for a bombshell. After much rumor and speculation, the folks over at The Wrap have revealed the director of the next chapter in ‘Star War’s history!
It appears that J.J. Abrams will be directing Star Wars: Episode VII.
The report says that a source close to production is claims that producer Kathleen Kennedy been pursuing Abrams for the director’s chair for some time. The film will likely hit theaters in 2015!
Disney purchased Lucasfilm in October for $4 billion and in announcing the deal said it would move forward with new “Star Wars” films every two to three years. It plans to release the next pic in 2015, with (“Little Miss Sunshine”) penning the script.
