The first Homeward Bound Heroes™ concert to benefit wounded warriors will stream live May 22 on Stageit.com. Country music powerhouse Lonestar joins an All-Star lineup that includes Nathan Osmond, Sarah Darling, Crossin Dixon and emcee Larry King.
Stageit is a two-year-old service that allows performers to play from just about any location with paying fans watching the show and even interacting with the artists between numbers.
Homeward Bound Heroes kicks off at 8 pm ET on Wednesday, live from the world-class Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland. Legendary broadcaster Larry King, host of Larry King Now, will host a great lineup, including country breakthrough artist Nathan Osmond, CMA recording artist Sarah Darling, Crossin Dixon, country recording artist Laura Bryna, Moi Navarro and Angel Taylor from NBC’sThe Voice, and famed tenor Anthony Giuliano.
Stageit performances require viewers to pay for the live show – Homeward Bound Heroes is charging a nominal fee of $5, with proceeds earmarked for the organization’s Wounded in Action Family Foundation (wiaffusa.org), whose mission is to assist wounded veterans as they make the transition from military to civilian life.
“We’re excited to be able to offer this fantastic live show to fans around the globe,” said Nathan Osmond, country music artist and executive producer of the Homeward Bound Heroes show. “Now, we can really thank all of the troops for their dedication and bravery, and they can watch a great show from wherever they happen to be.”
