Singer/songwriter Keaton Simons stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show as the musical guest to perform a rousing rendition of his current single “Beautiful Pain.” Keaton performed alongside his full band, which features Robin Dimaggio (drums), Darwin Johnson (bass), and Scheila Gonzalez (keys, backing vocals). Fans can check out the performance on Ellen here.
Keaton also recently performed a show at New York City’s Webster Hall as well as Teaneck, NJ that featured appearances from friends Jason Castro (former American Idol contestant) and Ryan Cabrera.
Keaton’s new album Beautiful Pain was co-produced by Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, One Republic) and mastered by Gavin Lurssen of Lurssen Mastering. The album features co-writes with friends and peers Jason Mraz, Jason Reeves, and Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) amongst others. Fans can purchase the album on Amazon and iTunes, and can stream the album in full here.
Last month Keaton premiered the visually gorgeous video for current single “Beautiful Pain.” The video was directed by Nick Spanos and executive produced by long time friend, and star of the Showtime series Californication, David Duchovny. The video can be seen here.
