You Me At Six Premieres New Single “Room To Breathe,” Tour Dates Announced

“For British rock group You Me At Six, the timing has never looked better for American success.”

So says USA Today with their premiere of “Room To Breathe,” the new single from UK buzz band You Me At Six (you can hear the song by clicking on the article).

The group will be performing “Room To Breathe”—along with a plethora of fan favorites—during their headlining tour of North America, which kicks off April 21st at the Troubadour in Los Angeles (see itinerary below).

“Room To Breathe” appears on the band’s new album, Cavalier Youth, which shot to No. 1 on both the Billboard Heatseekers and UK rock charts. Fueled by previous single “Lived A Lie,” whose companion video ( is quickly closing in on the 2 million views mark, Cavalier Youth has been drawing rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Rolling Stone called the disc “a confident, modern rock album,” Q Magazine gave it four stars, and The Guardian praised it for having “the kind of fist-pumping choruses that made the Foo Fighters superstars.”

The quintet (lead vocalist Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Dan Flint) have spent the past several years playing to packed-house crowds all across Europe, including a sold-out show at London’s famed Wembley Arena. They have three Gold-selling albums under their belt (2008’s Take Off your Colours, 2010’s Hold me Down and 2011’s Sinners Never Sleep), have racked up over 20 million combined YouTube/Vevo views and have an international fanbase whose members number in the millions.

Following their U.S. tour, the band will head overseas for a main stage performance alongside Blink-182 and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at the Reading Leeds Festival. They’ll also be joining an all-star “T In The Park” lineup that features Pharrell Williams, Haim, Arctic Monkeys, Imagine Dragons and many more.
