Jamie Scott, the hit songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, will release his solo debut album My Hurricane digitally via Virgin Records on October 7th. Starting fans can click here to pre-order the album and will instantly receive “Unbreakable” and the album’s title track “My Hurricane,” an all-out, devil-may-care love song that perfectly embodies the album’s irrepressible and infectious spirit.

Jamie Scott recently released a new video for his single, “Unbreakable.” This is a 1 Mic 1 Take session performed at the historic Capitol Records Studios. Jamie sang / recorded the song in one attempt. Check out the amazing video below!

Over the last half-decade, in between writing and producing for hitmakers like One Direction (“Story of my Life,” “You & I,” “More Than This”), Christina Perri featuring Ed Sheeran, Ron Sexsmith, Enrique Iglesias, Marsha Ambrosius and making waves with his Northern soul/indie-pop project Graffiti6 – singer/songwriter Jamie Scott began working on a batch of intensely personal songs sparked by his recently becoming a father and husband. Now with his new solo record, Scott has brought those songs together to create an album that’s unabashedly emotional and gracefully sophisticated in both its lush and lovely, ’70s-folk-rock-influenced sound and intimate storytelling of an autographically inspired couple.

Jamie will be playing the album acoustically when he joins his old friends One Direction for several dates this summer, including their three Rose Bowl shows in Pasadena, CA. He will also hit the road with One Republic beginning August 13th! (see below for current tour itinerary)
