THE SIMPSONS: FXX’s Kicks Off 12 Day Marathon of Iconic Series Today!


The longest running scripted show in television history, THE SIMPSONS, has been celebrating its 25th anniversary all year long with hot fashion and beauty collaborations, toys and exciting news from 20th Century Fox Consumer Products and America’s favorite TV family.  The FXX cable network recently announced a new “longest ever” record as it will soon air all 552 episodes of the animated Fox comedy over a 12-day period, from Aug. 21 through Labor Day, and then on the Simpsons World app in October.  Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, all 25 seasons of THE SIMPSONS and 2007’s THE SIMPSONS MOVIE will run in chronological order and will kick off the longest marathon in TV history.  

In “The Simpsons Greatest. Live. Tweet. Ever.,” @EverySimpsons will be live tweeting all 552 episodes and the movie 24 hours a day, for 12 days straight. Fans and viewers can participate in the marathon by taking the #EverySimpsonsEver Check-In Challenge on tvtag for the opportunity to collect nine exclusive original hand drawnmilestone Simpsons stickers.

Users will be able to unlock stickers after reaching various milestones at episodes 1, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 552, along with a hand drawn piece for The Simpsons Movie. Participants will be entered to win one of these milestone stickers in a 24” vinyl format.

Viewers can also engage in the marathon anytime through series trivia, character infographics and daily “Duff Hour” celebrations via Twitter and Facebook
