LA based hip-hop/metal veterans Hollywood Undead have returned with a new single for the Halloween season. “Day of the Dead,” which premiered on Revolver today, represents the band’s first new music in almost two years. Fans can listen to the single here. “Day of the Dead” features all the HU trademarks fans have come to expect over the band’s career. Heavy guitars, harsh rhymes, and a penchant for anthemic choruses:
“Hold on Holy Ghost, go on hold me close, better run here we come, it’s the day of the dead!”
The single will be featured on the band’s forthcoming album (also titled Day of the Dead) that is currently scheduled for an early 2015 release via Interscope. Day of the Dead will mark the band’s fourth studio album, and their first since 2013’s Gold selling Notes from the Underground.
