The Summer of 2015 is fast approaching, which means the Summerland Tour is gearing up for their impressive fourth year. This years iconic bands will include Everclear, Fuel, Toadies and American Hi-Fi will all perform concerts around North America together on the Summerland Tour.
The 2015 Summerland Tour kicks off June 11 in Ft. Myers, Fla., and it wraps up Aug. 15 in Riverside, Calif. with their concert at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. Tickets go on sale via the tour’s official website beginning March 27.
Everclear will soon be releasing a new album entitled Black is the New Black sometime this spring. The album drops on April 28 via The End Records, and ADA. It will be the band’s first full length studio album released since Invisible Stars in 2012.
The band Fuel’s most recent studio album, Puppet Strings was released last spring on March 4. That album features their singles “Yeah!,” “Soul to Preach To,” and “Cold Summer.” They are most known for their hit singles “Shimmer,” “Bad Day,” and “Hemorrhage (In My Hands).”
The American pop punk band American Hi-Fi gained mainstream success in 2001 thanks to their single “Flavor of the Weak.” That band’s most recent studio album, Blood & Lemonade came out last year on Sept. 9.
Rounding out the 2015 Summerland Tour lineup is the Toadies. That American alternative rock band is most known for their 1995 hit single “Possum Kingdom.” It was on their album Rubberneck, which also features their singles “Away,” and “Backslider.”
The Summerland Tour was formed back in 2012 by Everclear lead vocalist Art Alexakis. Some bands that have performed on previous tours include Marcy Playground, Live, Filter, Eve 6, and Gin Blossoms.
