Foo Fighters Announce New Album ‘Concrete And Gold’ For September Release

Legendary rockers Foo Fighters have announced a new album titled ‘Concrete and Gold.’,The album is set for a September 15 via Roswell/RCA. The record will include ”The Sky is a Neighborhood” and “La Dee Da,” which were previously debuted live. It also features “Run,” which recently premiered with a crazy Dave Grohl-directed video. Check out the album’s cover art and tracklist below. The band have also announced a string of new tour dates. Foo Fighters’ last release was 2015’s Saint Cecilia EP. In 2014, they shared their ‘Sonic Highways’ LP.

Greg Kurstin (Adele, Katy Perry, Pink) has produced the new album. Of the new record, Grohl said in a statement,  “I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of “Sgt. Pepper”… or something like that. Our noise and Greg’s big brain and all of his sophisticated arrangements and composition. So I think maybe Greg is the guy that we ask to be our producer because he’s never made a heavy rock record before and we’ve never worked with a pop producer.”
