Drew Fortier (Bang Tango, Zen From Mars) Joins The Cast of ‘Her Name Was Christa,’ Hits The Road With Chuck Mosley On New Tour

Guitarist Drew Fortier (Bang Tango, Zen From Mars) will soon adding acting to his growing list of credits in 2017. Best known for his work behind the camera as the filmmaker who brought ‘Attack of Life: The Bango Tango Movie’ to the masses, it was recently announced Fortier has joined the cast of director James L. Edward’s upcoming film, ‘Her Name Was Christa,’ which is currently in pre-production.

In the film, Fortier is set to play “Nick,” who’s described as “an obnoxious yet loveable co-worker of the lead character who convinces him to voyage into the world of love for sale with terrifying results.”

2017 is shaping up to be a banner year for Fortier as ZEN FROM MARS’ debut album is currently in the mixing stages and is tentatively set for a 2017 release. ZEN FROM MARS (ZFM) was announced last year and features vocalist Stephen Shareaux (Kik Tracee), drummer Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy), the legendary Chip Z’Nuff (Enuff Z’Nuff) on bass and backing vocals, guitarists Brynn Arens (Flipp) and Drew Fortier (Bang Tango), and Kate Catalina (The Showgirl of Rock) on keyboards.

Currently, Drew Fortier is traveling the land with rock icon, Chuck Mosley of Faith No More on his “Reintroduce Yourself 2017 Tour.” Mosley, who has been hard at work prepping a solo record will be debuting the new material on the nationwide tour.
