Marc Summers & Friends’ 40 Year Double Dare Reunion will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 7:30 PM at City Winery Philadelphia. Hosted by original DOUBLE DARE host Marc Summers, the one-night-only event will reunite cast members, crew members, and special guests for an evening of stories, surprises, and nostalgia honoring the beloved series that became a cultural phenomenon and helped transform Nickelodeon into a household name.
Joining Summers will be fan favorites Robin (Marrella) Russo and Harvey, the show’s legendary announcer and longtime Philadelphia radio personality, along with additional special guests who brought the magic of DOUBLE DARE to life.
Presented just blocks from where the first episodes of DOUBLE DARE were taped, the live event will feature behind-the-scenes stories from the show’s creation and explosive rise in popularity, including firsthand accounts of how DOUBLE DARE evolved from a modest children’s game show into a global franchise with live tours that packed arenas across the country.
“Philadelphia is where DOUBLE DARE was born,” said Marc Summers. “We shot those first episodes here with no idea we were creating something that would become part of television history. Forty years later, being able to celebrate with Robin, Harvey, our crew, and the fans in the city where it all began feels like the perfect reunion.”
Fans will hear never-before-shared stories from Summers, Robin, Harvey, and other members of the DOUBLE DARE family, enjoy rare photos and video footage not seen on television, and get an exclusive look at the personalities and creative forces responsible for bringing DOUBLE DARE to life.
The evening will also include live demonstrations of fan-favorite physical challenges, with audience members selected to participate on stage for the chance to win “fabulous prizes,” the show’s signature gag gifts. City Winery Philadelphia will further commemorate the occasion with exclusive themed beverages, including a specialty drink inspired by DOUBLE DARE’s legendary slime recipe.
