Songstress Chloe Lowery Uses Her Powerful Voice To Raise Funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

New York songstress Chloe Lowery is giving back in one of the best ways she knows how, through her music.  In association with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, she has announced a campaign to raise awareness and funding for critical treatments and healthcare services for children in need.  In honor of this affiliation she has released a very special version of her single “Don’t Let Yourself Down” with an accompanying music video to support the campaign. The video features Marissa Peddie, a childhood cancer survivor who was treated at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  View the video for “Don’t Let Yourself Down” below.

“Earlier this year I went to a Tampa Bay Lightning game where they brought out “12-year-old, cancer survivor, Marissa Peddie” to sing the anthem and I was blown away” shares Chloe. “We reached out to Marissa’s family and they agreed they’d love to work with us, especially as Marissa is very passionate about raising awareness for pediatric cancer. I worked with my producer, Travis Laws, and we re-recorded “Don’t Let Yourself Down” to feature Marissa and the girls from Entertainment Revue. We then brought the idea to CMN Hospitals and they loved the song and the message so we felt it was a great charity to align with.”

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icon. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. Earlier this year, Chloe released her long-awaited debut solo album, The In-Between.  The deeply personal concept album was born from a journey of self-discovery following an emotional heartbreak.  From the debut single “Renegade” to the vibrant “Crazy” (featuring guitar legend Al Pitrelli) to the cinematic duet “Giving Up On You” featuring Nathan James (Inglorious, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), and the groovy “Dirty Disco,” Chloe builds a narrative that offers a personal look at her metamorphosis. The In-Between is now available at www.chloelowery.com

Chloe has been the featured vocalist for recording and touring phenomenon Trans-Siberian Orchestra since 2010 and has toured extensively and performed on Broadway with international sensation Rocktopia.  She has also recorded and toured with beloved keyboardist/composer Yanni on his landmark Yanni Voices album and tour, performed with renowned jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, has been a soloist with the New York City Ballet, collaborated with noted hard-rock guitarist Joel Hoekstra, and even stepped into Janis Joplin’s shoes to tour with her legendary band Big Brother and the Holding Company.
