The wait is over! A gorgeous new trailer for Netflix’s ‘The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance’ has arrived. The Jim Henson–inspired series is set to premiere on August 30th.
The story centers around our heroes—Taron Egerton’s Rian, Anya Taylor-Joy’s Brea, and Nathalie Emmanuel’s Deet—as they embark on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their dying world as the Skeksis control the powerful Crystal of Truth.
The ensemble cast will also feature Mark Hamill, Helena Bonham Carter, Natalie Dormer, Eddie Izzard, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Simon Pegg, Andy Samberg, Mark Strong, Alicia Vikander, Toby Jones, Shazad Latif, Theo James, Caitriona Balfe, Jason Isaacs, and Keegan-Michael Key.
