As a special surprise for these cold months, we’re excited to announce that Corey Feldman’s new 7″, a celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the Two Corey’s classic ‘Dream A Little Dream‘ (dir. Marc Rocco, 1989) will be released to record stores worldwide the week of December 19th.
In 1989, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim teamed up to create one of their most beloved films together, Dream A Little Dream. Since then, it’s become a cult classic and, furthermore, an important milestone in Feldman’s career.
To commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the movie, Feldman entered the studio with Mickey Thomas of Starship, who sang the original title song, to create a new duet that celebrates the legacy of the film along with celebrating the lives of those who have since passed. The result is something that’s truly exciting and is well worthy of its namesake.
On the B-Side of the 7″ is “Something In Your Eyes“, Feldman’s original song from the movie’s soundtrack. Newly remastered for the first time, this is the first ever reissue of the song, released in anticipation of the upcoming expansive boxset for Feldman’s debut studio album, ‘Love Left‘, which is slated for release in 2020.
In an exciting week for Feldman and the song, the A-Side of the 7″, which is available now for streaming, has reached #36 on the independent airplay chart and #13 on the global top 50 rock airplay chart. This chart news is no surprise to Feldman and his team, who have been working tirelessly to promote this anniversary release.
While the vinyl edition was originally scheduled for Record Store Day on 11/29, weather related delays made it impossible for stores to receive them on time. As such, you’ll be able to purchase this 7″ IN STORE on 12/19 at any record store near you. If you want to ensure your copy ahead of time, ask them to order it from their distributor.
The cover art for the singles was created to mimic the original artwork from the movie and there are FOUR alternate back covers available…all distributed at random!
While WHITE VINYL copies will be widely available at all stores, there are a couple variants that will be available exclusively to Jett Plastic online shoppers!
• 600 copies on White Vinyl ($6)
• 75 copies on White Vinyl with Confetti Splatter ($15)
• 25 copies on Wax Mage Insanity Vinyl ($45)
• ‘ULTIMATE FAN BUNDLE’ includes all three variants along with a limited test pressing of the release ($120)
