Details for the inaugural MEGACRUISE, the ultimate heavy metal music experience at sea hosted by metal pioneers MEGADETH, have been announced to preview the cruise’s public on sale!

Departing out of Los Angeles aboard the Norwegian Jewel, the five-day/five-night full ship charter cruise will set sail October 13-18, 2019, visiting two ports of call (Ensenada, Mexico and San Diego, CA) and host two heavy metal-filled days of music and events. The cruise will also feature an optional pre-cruise party in Los Angeles (details TBA).

Cabins start at $1,349 per person (double occupancy). Government fees, taxes, and gratuities are additional and mandatory for all passengers, regardless of age. For booking and more info, visit MEGACRUISE.com and follow @TheMegaCruise on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In addition, official cruise hosts Eddie Trunk (VH1, SiriusXM, AXS), Luc Carl (SiriusXM) and Jose Mangin (SiriusXM) will be moderating Q&A’s and events.

MEGACRUISE will offer fans an interactive experience like no other, hosting a variety of events and activities that put cruisers upfront and center with metal icons that have been an integral part of their lives. From Artist Photo Experiences to Intimate Morning Coffee Jams, Music Clinics to Fan/Artist Sporting Competitions, there are many ways for fans to interact with their favorite artists. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to join Dave Mustaine for optional beer and wine tasting events featuring a new vintage from Mustaine Vineyards and his award-winning  À Tout Le Monde beer.

Sail aboard one of the finest vessels in the music cruise industry, the Norwegian Jewel features some of the hottest venues and performance stages on the high seas. In addition to the main event — endless amounts of live metal music everywhere you look — the ship offers delectable dining options (16 restaurants, plus 15 lounges and bars) and a myriad of activities and entertainment options (casinos, pools, hot tubs, outdoor basketball court, spa, and more). Cruisers will enjoy the friendly and attentive service that the Norwegian Cruise Line is known for…this experience will impress even the most discerning cruise and music fan.

The cruise features a stop at the laid-back Mexican port of Ensenada, which offers outdoor recreation, local attractions, wineries, incredible food, culture, and of course, great cantinas to grab a cold one and party with locals, fellow cruises, and artists. Active travelers looking for adventure can grab a surfboard, kayak or paddle board and hit the beach for the perfect day in the sun. Snorkeling, zip lining, sailing, fishing, horseback riding and more are also available for a nominal charge.

MEGACRUISE will also visit “America’s Finest City,” San Diego. The Norwegian Jewel will literally arrive downtown at the foot of Broadway, leading fans into one of the coolest cities in the world. From sun up to late into the night, guests have the time to experience more than just a short day here…the ship doesn’t leave San Diego until well after midnight. As the sun sets over the Norwegian Jewel and the skyline of San Diego, the heavy metal experience will begin with bands performing on multiple stages aboard this floating festival like no other.

Rob Zombie Reveals ‘The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser’ Tracklisting

Rob Zombie Reveals ‘The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser’ Tracklisting

rob-zombie-album-2016-1

The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser is Rob Zombie’s sixth solo studio album. Produced by Zeuss, it was recorded and mixed at Goathouse Studios. A full return to form by the rock icon, The Electric Warlock… features John 5 (Guitar), Piggy D (Bass) and Ginger Fish (Drums) and will be released on April 29th, 2016 via UMe/T-Boy Records. This album will mark Rob Zombie’s first solo studio album since 2013’s Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200.

In true Zombie fashion, the design of the record is just as provocative as the music it holds. Featuring art by Alex Horley, the album’s centerfold needs to be seen to be believed. Rob said of the new release, “I can easily say this is my favorite album yet… no joke. Yeah I know every fucking asshole says that. But it is seriously our heaviest most fucked up musical monster to date. One song entitled ‘Well, Everybody’s Fucking In a U.F.O.’ is sure to be an instant Zombie classic! Not since Hellbilly Deluxe have I spent this long putting an album together. It was worth it.”

To celebrate the release of the new album, Zombie has made a direct presale available via fuckinginaUFO.com where fans can pre-order the new record, as well as purchase exclusive merchandise. In a message to his fans, Zombie reveals: “This time I’m not just putting out a new record like everyone else- I’m offering it directly from me to YOU along with a ton of other limited edition, exclusive badass shit like new album merch, posters and the chance for you to be in THE ELECTRIC WARLOCK ACID WITCH SATANIC ORGY CELEBRATION DISPENSER MOVIE!”

As a rock legend and filmmaker with a unique vision, Zombie has continuously challenged audiences as he stretches the boundaries of both music and film. He has sold more than fifteen million albums worldwide and is the only artist to experience unprecedented success in both music and film as the writer/director of six feature films.

Rob Zombie’s seventh feature film, the highly anticipated 31, will be making its world premiere this month at Sundance Film Festival. Last year he also released his first live album in over eight years, SPOOKSHOW INTERNATIONAL LIVE, which is filled with nineteen tracks from the highlights of Rob’s critically acclaimed US tour of 2014.

This week Philm drummer and “the godfather of double bass drumming” Dave Lombardo stops by the acclaimed hard rock/heavy metal talk show, hosted by Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson, and Jim Florentine. The ex-Slayer drum maestro discusses his musical influences, how he never warms up before he performs, and that he feels better than ever now that he’s 50. The hosts ask Dave about his much publicized departure from Slayer and if he’d ever consider a possible reunion, to which Dave replies, “Let’s just say if you see me on stage with Slayer again, then all of the issues have been resolved.”

The episode also features guitar hero, John 5, making his return to the “That Metal Show” doing double duty both as an interviewed guest and as the guest musician. John 5 updates the hosts on the latest developments with his trio, John 5 & The Creatures recording with Rob Zombie and later hitting the road him, and about his long friendship with David Lee Roth and the album they recorded together that’s yet to be released.  Or,  “that’s only been heard by two people.  Dave and John.”

Dave Lombardo and John 5 both get candid when they “Put It On The Table” this week and they both even have the same answer for one of the questions. Eddie regains his dominance with “Stump The Trunk” and “Take It Or Leave It” has the guys discussing the latest trend of musicians having multiple side projects. The “TMS Top 5” discusses the hosts’ Top 5 Best Side Projects, and it’s Marilyn Manson vs. Rob Zombie for the battle of the better showman in the “Throwdown.”

Motörhead checks-in from the recording studio via the “Metal Modem”. Lemmy, Phil Campbell, and MIkkey Dee update us on the new album the band is currently recording. They also tease an upcoming US tour in August that will end with the second voyage of Motörhead’s Motörboat at the end of September.  Fans can watch all previous episodes and other exclusive bonus clips at ThatMetalShow.VH1.com and on the new VH1 app as well as the new “That After Show” segment.
