Amidst the tour, Shinedown will kick off a more intimate, limited run of shows in May entitled ‘An Evening With Shinedown,’ offering fans an exclusive, up-close-and-personal live experience. These special shows, inspired by the high demand for tickets to Shinedown’s three intimate, year-end shows at the House of Blues in Orlando, begin May 6 in New Orleans at The Fillmore and will include back-to-back nights in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and Nashville. Additionally, Shinedown will return to their roots in Jacksonville, FL for an epic set at Welcome to Rockville on May 4, and will headline WNOR Lunatic Luau 2019 on May 17 in Virginia Beach, VA, MMRBQ on May 18 in Camden, NJ, Rocklahoma on May 24 in Pryor, OK, Inkarceration Festival on July 12 in Mansfield, OH, andRiff Fest on July 13 in Detroit, MI. Shinedown’s chart-topping album ATTENTION ATTENTION (PRESS HERE to listen), out now via Atlantic Records, simultaneously hit #1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock Albums Charts and debuted Top 5 on the Billboard 200. The story that unfolds as the album progresses is a poignant and enduring statement about humanity, touching on topics such as overcoming struggles, mental health, not being afraid to fail and the resolve of the human spirit as seen on tracks like “DEVIL,” and the anthemic “THE HUMAN RADIO”. Given the deeply personal nature of the record, Shinedown went in-house for production for the first time ever, enlisting bassist Eric Bass to produce and mix the album in its entirety.

Shinedown – Brent Smith [vocals], Zach Myers [guitar], Eric Bass [bass, production], and Barry Kerch [drums] – has sold more than 10 million albums and 10 million singles worldwide, has 11 platinum and gold singles and four platinum and gold albums, and 14 #1 active rock hits, and more than 1.5 billion total overall streams to date. Each of Shinedown’s 24 charting singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs Chart has reached the top five – an unparalleled feat.

Godsmack and Shinedown Announce Co-Headlining Summer Tour

Godsmack and Shinedown Announce Co-Headlining Summer Tour

This summer, rock fans across the country should prepare to be rocked hard when the GODSMACK/SHINEDOWN co-headlining summer tour hits more than 30 cities. Produced by Live Nation, the six-week outdoor amphitheater tour kicks off July 22 and make stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, New York and many more before wrapping September 2. These dates come as both multi-platinum groups are set to release new albums: Godsmack‘s WHEN LEGENDS RISE (April 27 via BMG) and Shinedown’s ATTENTION ATTENTION (May 4 via Atlantic Records). Tickets are available to the general public starting Friday, March 23 at LiveNation.com.

Select dates of the summer tour will also be part of the popular Live Nation Ticket to Rock program. The Ticket to Rock bundle offers fans a low-cost way to see many of their favorite rock artists live in their area all summer long.

“We really believe this could be a great moment in our band’s career and we plan on running on the road until at least fall of 2019,” Sully Erna of Godsmack says. “We love the guys in Shinedown and we all go way back. There is a very strong mutual respect between our camps and we feel that this tour is going to be a must see!” Adds the singer, songwriter and guitarist: “We’re preparing ourselves to be on the top of our game!”

“It’s all about impact, and making a statement,” says Brent Smith, Shinedown‘slead singer. “We are creating a show for the fans that is powerful, passionate, and sonically inspiring. The audience has given us a platform to be ourselves, and create something spectacular. That being said SHINEDOWN, and GODSMACK will most certainly NOT let them down. This will be the Rock & Roll event of the year. In other words “IT’S ABOUT TO GET HEAVY!!!”

The tour will feature two support acts handpicked by Godsmack and Shinedown. Like A Storm will open the first half of the tour with Red Sun Rising performing on the second half. New Zealanders Like A Storm, led by brothers Chris, Matt & Kent Brooks, with Zach Wood on drums, have become the most successful New Zealand rock band in U.S. radio history. The band has just finished recording their new album Catacombs and a single is eminent. Akron, Ohio’s Red Sun Rising–Mike Protich [vocals/guitar], Ryan Williams [guitar], Dave McGarry [guitar/vocals], Ricky Miller [bass/vocals], and Pat Gerasia [drums]–broke onto the scene in 2012. Through tireless gigging, they built up an impressive local fan base.

WHEN LEGENDS RISE, Godsmack‘s first album in four years, is due out April 27via BMG and marks their debut on the label. The new album comes 20 years after the release of their debut album and 20 million album sales later, Godsmack are an even stronger animal than before. The album’s newly released single, “Bulletproof,” shows the band–Sully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass], and Shannon Larkin [drums]–doubling down on their combination of tightly wound riffs, rhythmic fury, naked emotions and pushed-to-the-edge vocals, all fired up with melodic precision and tight songcraft. What inspired the songs on WHEN LEGENDS RISE? “It was just about evolving as a songwriter,” says singer and songwriter Sully Erna. “I wanted to stretch my wings out even further to use all the experiences I’ve had with writing different types of music over the years and applying that to find a way to introduce a newer, fresher, more mature sound, but still maintaining the power of Godsmack.” WHEN LEGENDS RISE is available for pre-order now (here) with instant grat track, “Bulletproof.” Listen to “Bulletproof” here. An official music video is coming soon. For more information on Godsmack, visit the band’s website here.

Multi-platinum rock band Shinedown recently announced the release of their sixth studio album ATTENTION ATTENTION out May 4th on Atlantic Records. Lead single “DEVIL” is out now along with the gripping and visceral video (HERE) which has quickly amassed more than 1 million YouTube views. ATTENTION ATTENTION is available for pre-order now at all DSPs HERE and each pre-order will include an instant download of “DEVIL.” Deluxe album bundles are available at the official Shinedown webstore HERE. The 14-track album, Shinedown‘s most raw and personal to date, is a mental, emotional and physical journey from ruin to reclamation to revelation. The story that unfolds as the album progresses follows an individual from life’s lowest lows to the highest highs as anxieties dissipate and demons disappear. It is a powerful and enduring statement about the resolve of the human spirit, our will to overcome struggles, and the importance of respecting and leaning on one another. With a symphony of thought-provoking lyrics, stadium-size, explosive guitars, unpredictable rhythms, and cinematic flourishes, ATTENTION ATTENTION ushers in the band’s biggest and boldest chapter yet. Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown Join Forces to Co-Headline Fall’s Biggest Arena Rock Tour

Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown Join Forces to Co-Headline Fall’s Biggest Arena Rock Tour

Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown are partnering to co-headline the biggest Fall Arena Rock Tour 2016 produced by Frank Productions/NS2/ CMoore Live – an epic trek that kicks off on October 18th in Little Rock, AR, and crisscrosses North America through December. The tour is also highlighted by Special Guest SIXX:A.M. featuring vocalist/producer James Michael, bassist Nikki Sixx and guitarist Dj Ashba. 5fdp-shinedown-tour-2016

Says Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory about the tour: “I wanted to give you a brilliant quote about trying to keep rock music alive by assembling bills that can sell out arenas where everyone can have the production rock shows deserve, or bringing out new talented bands and expose them to huge crowds… or about rebuilding a community with the help of rock radio, and donating to good causes while we are at it… but we are so busy doing it that I ran out of quotes”.

Shinedown has always been about sharing the undeniable power of rock music,” says Shinedownfrontman Brent Smith. “And performing live is where we make that connection most directly, where we can truly experience that power together with our fans in its purest form because we are literally sharing the same physical space, living in that moment as one. Five Finger Death Punch shares that passion and commitment, and, like us, leaves it all out on the stage every single night. Come experience the power of rock music with us.”

“We are really excited and proud to be part of this tour with FFPD and Shinedown. Having spent many months in the studio recording Prayers for the Damned, it will give us the opportunity to play our new songs and hits in arenas”, says bassist Nikki Sixx. “They have been such supporters of new music and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this powerful night of music!” adds vocalist & producer James Michael. “I can’t tell you how excited we are to be sharing the bill with FFDP and Shinedown, this tour is going to be off the f’n chain, can’t wait to see you all out there!” states guitarist Dj Ashba.

“This will be the most explosive and dynamic rock tour these cities have ever experienced!” added Frank Productions president Charlie Goldstone.

The bands have partnered to donate $1 from each ticket sold on the tour to four hand-picked charitable organizations close to their hearts: Five Finger Death Punch chose the Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation, Shinedown selected MusiCares, SIXX:A.M. will support Jada Pinkett Smith’s Anti-Human Trafficking organization Don’t Sell Bodies, and As Lions will donate to Make A Wish America. The band’s unmatched ascendancy over multi-format rock radio has seen the band achieve a record setting 20 #1 singles, including back-to-back chart-toppers “Cut The Cord” and “State Of My Head” off of their latest album, “THREAT TO SURVIVAL.”  Released last fall, “THREAT TO SURVIVAL” debuted at #1 on both Billboard’s Rock Albums and Hard Rock Albums chart, and #5 overall on the Billboard 200.  The band just launched the album’s 3rdsingle “Asking For It.”  Shinedown exploded onto the rock scene with 2003’s RIAA-certified Platinum debut album “LEAVE A WHISPER,” has had every album since – “US AND THEM” (2005), “THE SOUND OF MADNESS” (2008),  “AMARYLLIS” (2012) – score either Gold or Platinum success. Hailed by fans as a fiery and always exciting live act, Shinedown have toured hard throughout their career, including countless headline treks and festival appearances. The band has shared their explosive performances with a national audience through high profile television appearances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and TODAY, CBS’ The Early Show, and TBS’ Conan, among others. In 2009, Shinedown received an American Music Award nomination for “Best Alternative Rock Band.”  Shinedown is: Brent Smith (vocals), Barry Kerch (drums), Zach Myers (guitars), and Eric Bass (bass).  For more information, please visit www.shinedown.com.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2007, SIXX:A.M.‘s mission has remained steadfast: to provide the masses with iconic, hard rock that boasts unrivaled musicianship. “Wash It All Away”, the bands second single from their recently released album, Got Your Six, quickly climbed the Active Rock radio charts and recently went #1. The striking, live performance music video for “Wash It All Away” was shot by iconic music video director Wayne Isham (Metallica, Mötley Crüe). The clip was filmed at the band’s recent headlining show at Mohegan Sun Arena (Uncasville, CT) and showcases their highly visual stage show, and the contagious energy that fuels the thousands of rabid fans in attendance.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH also recently received the prestigious “Soldier Appreciation Award” From The Association of the United States Army. The award was founded in 1950 by the then newly founded AUSA. This was based on having Germany and Europe stationed US troops that had a hard standing in the public. The soldiers had been under hard pressure and so the AUSA founded the Award to honor the organizations and/or people who supported the troops to make their daily life more easy and comfortable.

Zoltan Bathory (guitars) states: “The Soldiers Appreciation Award is something very special. The only musician ever to receive this was Elvis Presley. Clearly what we have to say resonates with a lot of veterans and a lot of service members. To know that we are reaching people and touching their lives with our music is very rewarding,  and to me this really is the sole purpose of being a musician — to be able to make a positive impact in somebody’s life.”

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH’s highly-acclaimed 6th album, GOT YOUR SIX, hit new heights for the band around the world with its sales debut last September. Chart-topping debuts in US  – #1 on Top Album chart, #1 on Overall Digital Album chart and #1 on the Hard Music Album chart combined with #2 on the Billboard Top 200 for the band’s impressive showing of nearly 115k records sold in the first week of release. This was the first #1 Album for the Las Vegas hard-rockers. Impressive international chart numbers rolled in from around the globe: Australia & Canada (#3), Germany & Sweden (#5), UK (#6) to name a few.

Five Finger Death Punch have grown exponentially in in just a few years, racking up 15 consecutive Top 10 Hits, 5 #1 Hits and 5 Gold albums.  With the release of their 2-volumes in 2013, the band had continuous new content with which they outsold the majority of bands in their genre, selling 1.5 million albums over the past 2 years in North America alone.

Sevendust Releases Lyric Video For “Not Today” From Forthcoming Album, ‘Kill The Flaw’

Sevendust Releases Lyric Video For “Not Today” From Forthcoming Album, ‘Kill The Flaw’

sevendust-2015-1

Sevendust have unleashed a lyric video for a new song from their upcoming release Kill The Flaw, the band’s 11th studio album available on October 2nd via 7Bros. Records with ADA/Warner Brothers Distribution. The lyric video for “Not Today” premiered on MetalInjection.netMetalSucks.net and MetalInsider.net and can be seen below. The song is a sonic assault on the senses with melodic vocals over the driving rhythms that have become synonymous with Sevendust. This sentiment is echoed in a recent review of Kill The Flaw by ArtistDirect that raved, “…they remain one of the genre’s most underrated, and they continue to impress and invigorate with each subsequent offering. Kill The Flaw is no exception.”

Kill The Flaw is available for digital pre-order at iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/album/kill-the-flaw/id1022058361. Fans who order the album will receive an instant download of “Not Today” and the first single, “Thank You.”  The physical CD is available for pre-order in various bundles via Sevendust.comKill The Flaw was self-produced by Sevendust and recorded at Architekt Music in Butler, New Jersey with engineer/mixer Mike Ferretti.

Sevendust will be hitting the road throughout September, October and November in support of Kill The Flaw.

The band was also recently announced as direct support on the upcoming Godsmack tour, which kicks off on September 23rd in Detroit, MI and will run throughout October where it wraps on October 19th in Ottawa, ON. Sevendust is also playing at the Food Truck & Rock Carnival on September 19th in Clark, NJ; the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY and the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Elverta, CA.

Coming on the heels of the recently announced new album and Godsmack tour, Sevendust has been tapped as direct support for the November dates of the Shinedown/Breaking Benjamin co-headlining tour. The band will join the tour starting on November 2nd in Sioux Falls, SD. The tour will be hitting Peoria, IL; Nashville, TN; and Little Rock, AR before it wraps up in Portland, ME on November 24th. Sevendust has been known for their amazing live shows as radio personality Lou Brutus recently stated: “The next time you see Sevendust perform at a festival, don’t watch them, watch the side of the stage, because you can bet every other band on the bill will be there taking notes & wondering how they got so fucking good.” Tickets for all dates featuring Sevendust are on sale and fans can head to Sevendust.com for more information.

Sevendust formed in 1996 and have forged one of hard rock’s most diehard audiences. 2014’s acoustic offering Time Traveler’s & Bonfires saw an overwhelming response from that community, being quickly funded through a highly successful PledgeMusic campaign. Just a year prior, Black Out The Sun entered Billboard’s Top Hard Music Albums chart at #1 and landed at #18 on the Top 200. They kicked off their illustrious career with an untouchable string of three gold albums, beginning with their self-titled 1997 debut and continuing with Home in 1999 and Animosity in 2001. Along the way, they’ve sold out shows everywhere and given unforgettable performances at the likes of Rock On The RangeWoodstockOZZfest, and Shiprocked!. However, the era of Kill The Flaw starts now.

Sevendust is comprised of iconic vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, the dual-guitar attack of John Connolly and Clint Lowery, and the driving rhythm section of Vince Hornsby on bass and Morgan Rose on drums.
